Any idea if handphone accessories is taxable. Not those electronic goods, but rather handphone straps/companion kind of thing, those cutie stuffs, if you know what I mean.

EDIT: Just back from Kastam. Taxed RM104+ (for RM630+ worth of goods + shipping). Non-negotiable at all, he just kira kira kira kira kira... tekan so long, only managed to get Yen conversion to MYR. Dunno what he did la... sleep.gif"

^ should be Custom first then only mail centre. But these 2 entities are located in the same building, probably sharing the same warehouse as well. So there isn't really a fine line between Custom and Malaysian Post.

What if i buy one unit handphone from oversea, is it taxable or not? for my own use

Not taxable, but you might have more trouble getting it SIRIM approved later. Preferably if someone can carry it in for you instead.

Greetings,

Since is 2011, does Customs still hold our stuff purchased from YesAsia?

Lets say items on shipment doesn't cost more than RM 500 (inclusive shipping fees)

Since purchasing music CD's from YesAsia entitle free international shipping as long total sum exceed $39.90

They are using DPEX Worldwide for free shipping in which deliver to Malaysia and handled by SkyNet Malaysia.

Any experience on this?

Thank you
