Can I still use my Celcom SIM while waiting for the delivery for my Digi SIM?
*
Yes. Your phone service will still be active. When you receive your new DiGi SIM card, follow the instructions that come with the mail.

Is there a limit to how much I can reload into my DiGi Prepaid New Best v1? Because I keep reloading whenever there's a discount voucher on Lazada. Not much at the moment around RM150 but don't want to hit a limit and go through the hassle of a refund for a failed reload.

As fruitie mentioned, it is up to RM1,000 but if you ever want to change from DiGi prepaid to DiGi Postpaid in the future, the maximum limit can be brought over from DiGi prepaid to DiGi Postpaid is up to RM100 only.

Recently I'm very disappointed with Digi. I changed a phone for my dad last month, he is using Call Plan D50 for many years. The second day, his number has been barred due to credit exceeded the limit. I am very surprise as his normal bill is about RM47~48 per month. I have no choice need to make a payment of about RM150 to unbarred it. When I check online, it shown that the charges due to data usage. My dad is 60+ years old and he do not know how to go internet. I wonder why Digi charge him data usage. I thought this may due to he accidentally click the youtube or whatever then I turn off the mobile data in the phone setting.

This Monday, I was told that his phone kena barred again. When I check online, the unbilled amount is about RM370+, again data usage. The mobile data on the phone setting has been turned off and how the DATA USAGE come from?

I try to check at Digi Centre yesterday. We was told that we need to wait for the itemized bill to be released then only can investigate. I request to turn off the data service forever, he told me it is impossible to turn off the data service as it comes together with the call plan. But when my dad purchased the plan few years ago, there is only "call" plan, no data. Now we were told that the data come together with this call plan, why? Somemore, the guy told us that in order not to get charged data usage in the future, my dad has to change back to use the simple phone without internet function.

I'm planning to switch to other telco bcoz I dun wan to keep on pay for this extra charges and spoil my mood. Really uphappy with this.

Alternatively may be you can PM JShao and ask him to nominate your dad for DiGi Ambassador plan ? After your dad has been successfully nominated, he can go to DiGi Store to sign up for the DiGi Ambassador 38 plan ? The mommy commitment is only RM38/month. So may be it suits your dad better.

today I port out from digi to maxis in this morning but until now yet receive confirmation sms for port out proceess? any idea?
*
If you still don’t receive any SMS tonight, call Maxis to check if they have successfully submitted your port-out request to DiGi.

It takes 3-5 working days before you get any news. Unlike in SG 24 hours, the moment you port you will be given a SIM card with temporary phone number and you can start using it and the telco will activate your original phone number when final approval is given.
*
It is actually maximum 48 hours to complete the whole process or the system will automatically cancel the request to port-in/out. Normally the whole thing can be done in less than 24 hours.

It took 4 working days for me to port from U to Digi and that also was late in the evening 3 months ago. Previous to that it took more than 48 hrs to port from Maxis to U.
*
When was that ? I ported out a few numbers recently. All was done in less than 24 hours. Only the recent two attempts took longer than 48 hours as there was some issue with the system. Donor telecom rejected the request. The other telecom re-sent a new request but did not get any reply from the donor telecom. I called to follow up and I was told if they don't get any reply from the donor telecom, the request will be automatically canceled when the time limit of 48 hours is up. After that they will submit another request again. This was from Maxis to DiGi, by the way.
