Hardware [WTA] Disk Error in window event viewer

inside window event viewer always show disk error, controller error,

2 probox (2 bays & 4 bays) connected via tplink usb 3 hub to my notebook,
the viewer will always have error and the hdd will sometime disconnect...
does this mean i cant connect the hdd bay via usb hub?

Hub not supplying enough power. Better connect directly to PC. Otherwise will end up like mine. USB disconnect while moving data. All lost.

but the hub have external power supply,
even connect to notebook usb port also sometime have error also...

What kind of "disk error"?
If it is "bad block", time to change the HDD.

Most is this error
"The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk*\DR*."

seldom is this error if use with usb hub
"Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort3, was issued."
"An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk5\DR17 during a paging operation."
"The IO operation at logical block address 0x5a3640 for Disk 5 (PDO name: \Device\000000b4) was retried."

have you try to scan the hard disk? to check on the bad sector?

Already scan HDD, all in green status.
But fear later will face bad sector if this error continue...

Don't have other PC as my main PC short circuit by lighting....
My notebook is Dell Inspiron 7559 i7 with 8gb ram

 

Change to:
