then you need to buy bento or whatsoever food before you head for the train. after reach kyoto, i guess you still need to put your luggage at your accommodation before visit attraction.. not sure which area you are staying.. fyi, just to let you know that part of kiyomizudera is currently under renovation. the main hall will be covered

Hi, i read that Kyoto can be very crowded during Koyo season. so taking bus will be very cramped especially i am travelling with toddler and kid.

if i want to visit Kiyomizudera, Tofukuji, Fushimi Inari and maybe throw in Gion and Uji, is it worth to take the Keihan 2 day pass? I can also use it when I transfer to Osaka from Kyoto as my hotel is around Yodoyabashi area..

Thanks!

it depends on your itinerary and from there you will know whether worth it or not. check the total amount from hyperdia. yes, you can use this pass to travel to your hotel around yodoyabashi area

yes i did check the price of ticket at jorudan.
my concern is not only about money.. is because i am travelling with 2 young ones and 2 seniors 😅
the last time i went there 6 yrs ago, i only took the 1 day bus pass and walking.. 😂

trains do get crowded during peak hours too so try to avoid taking train during that time if possible.. but at least more better than taking the bus. if you have strollers, bus is really inconvenience especially when it's crowded. however i saw there are some tourists conquer part of the bus with their strollers. not only 1 but is 2 or 3 that is not folded up at all  whistling.gif

any sifu caan provide me advice on osaka kaiyukan..

the entrance fee for adult is ¥2300, child (7-12 y.o) is ¥600.
Osaka Kaiyu ticket which provide subway, tram and bus transport for 1 day costs ¥2550 for adult and ¥1300 for child. so i plan to take the Osaka Kaiyu cos from my hotel to Osakako station cost ¥280 1 way.
problem is, there is no ticket for Osaka Kaiyu for below 7 years old child. Can I buy the 7-12 years old child Osaka Kaiyu ticket anyway?
