Hi, i would like to know is the JR National Pass allow us to book a reserve seat? and is it allowed to use Hayabusa Bullet Train (Tokyo <-> Sapporo)?
Have tried to search for train schedule using hyperdia, if i choose to:
- Unselect route "NOZOMI / MIZUHO / HAYABUSA (SHINKANSEN)", the travel time will be much much longer than select the route "NOZOMI / MIZUHO / HAYABUSA (SHINKANSEN)".

Anyone can advise is the national jr pass allowed to use HAYABUSA SHINKANSEN? and what is the travel time from sapporo to tokyo?

JR Rail Pass can booked reserved seat.

JR Rail pass cannot used on this 3 train. NOZOMI / MIZUHO / HAYABUSA
So JR Rail Pass cannot used on HAYABUSA SHINKANSEN

Oh No..is that real? T.T..
saw this: "All JR Group Railways-Shinkansen”bullet trains” (except any reserved or non-reserved seat on “NOZOMI” and “MIZUHO” trains) limited express trains, express trains, and rapid or local trains, and the BRT. (With some exceptions)" from JTBMalaysia website, which does not mention for HAYABUSA.

Have you tried from tokyo to sapporo?

I used JR East railpass 2 months ago to go Hakodate & Sapporo and back to Tokyo and i rmb it was Hayabusa...

btw, when i took that time, Hayabusa only have reserved seats so try to reserve if planning to take...

not sure JR East and JR Nationwide pass have difference or not in shinkansen choices?

How long is the total trip to hakodate? Did you reserve seat at the counter at Japan, or reserve online before you fly to japan?

Great. Thanks a lot for the link. is this the official jr website? Many of the info says Mizuho and Nozomi is not allowed, Hayabusa was not mentioned in the list. Was confused because the route selection in hyperdia which only allow us to select/unselect "Mizuho/Nozomi/Hayabusa", make me think like there of these train having same restriction.
