Nope they dont charge extras for luggage. Its a matter of fitting in 6 people plus luggage into a taxi. If you get a Alphard, there is a possibility you might be able to squeeze in, unless you have a lot of big luggage. Also the price of a Alphard and 5 seater taxi is the same. Remember one time I manage to get an Alphard from Haneda with just my computer bag. Damn shiok.

While I always root for DIY, I understand your situation. First time to any country (that don't remotely looks like KL) can be overwhelming and confusing. Since you have decided on tour, I agree with it as well. Not just itinerary, but Japan requires extensive research if you plan to walk around on your own. I doubt I'll be able to go around on my own, had it not been my friends who led the trip in my first visit. Because they brought me around and I experienced the place, I was able to plan my 2nd and 3rd trip without worry. Its because I know what to expect.

For recommendation of agency, I'll root for Mayflower. Honestly speaking, I liaise with Mayflower on many occasions for event, trips (work related) and they are very professional. I'm not sure how much it'll cost for your trip to Japan, but you can rest assured that things are well taken care of with Mayflower. boarding time 14:15 = this means 2:15PM GMT+8  Kuala Lumpur time right?
arrival time 22:15 = this means 10:15PM UTC+9 Tokyo time? Meaning here KL is 9:15PM?

yup, coz i drafting and planing my itinerary for oct tokyo trip so mah confirm confirm a bit with those information if not later plan wrongly jialat lo.. 

many things would be restricted in Tokyo cause mostly the shops closes at 8pm.

oct is just the beginning of autumn, i don't think i can see much red leaves. I choose mid to end oct because of the weather not too cool but rain lesser and also I got a year old daughter scare too cold for her. only stay in tokyo and going for day trip as furthest as eg, hakone, fujikawa, kanagawea, yokosuka n kamakura just for sight seeing by bus or rent car. the rest will be within tokyo eg, disney and the rest everyone had mentioned before. not a hardcore distance travel, it will be very free n easy all thru train and bus.
