Would like to ask if anyone had any experience with layover in Tokyo airports?
I'll arrive in HND in the morning (~8 am) and departing from the same airport later in the day to the US (~8 pm).

I assume I'll have about 8 hours after taking into consideration the time needed for immigration/check-in/etc.. I am considering going into Tokyo for a very short visit. I've been to Japan a few times before, so I don't really have any 'must see' places... just want to enjoy a bit of one of my favorite cities. And maybe do a bit of shopping if possible...instead of siting in the airport...

Any comments or suggestions?

As for luggage, I will request the airline to check it to my final destination, so at most I'll have my carry on only. But if not, I'm planning to store them in a locker somewhere anyway...

All I got was the price of regular tickets.

Also, if you have Disneyland tickets, do you automatically get to go DisneySea for free?

I will fold my stroller for all bus ride, easy to carry and also save space for others.
my ghibli ticket is Wednesday 4PM slots, noon time I went to 鬼太郎茶屋 then ride bus from here to ghibli. yeah, the online tickets runs out extremely fast.. i never tot it will run out within 10 hours from midnight 10th each month, i never have chance to purchase the date i wants and force to push to wednesday 4pm.. however they said online tickets is limited and the rest they reserve for u to purchase at lawson which what I heard.

Thanks for the reply, yes i read somewhere that the parking fees is very expensive hence i m planning to rent one way from osaka/kyoto to Tokyo and drop the vehicle once i reach Tokyo as i check online this option is available.

Ok, another tips.. i know we can't throw rubbish as there is no trash can everywhere but really can't eat while walking?? 

Its normally not polite to eat while you are walking. Though sometimes I just dont care as I am too hungry and the damn train is not arriving. Also during winter I dont think you can eat ice cream outside while standing still.

Guys, I'm currently doing my itinerary for my 15 days Japan trip. My wife and I have decided to visit Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. Travel date wll be end of April.

I will arrive in Narita Airport, Tokyo early in the morning. However, according to my colleagues, they said there is nothing much in that area, and advise me to directly fly to Osaka, and play from Osaka all the way north to Tokyo.

Just wondering, which airport I should land in Osaka? There is Kansai, Kobe and Itami. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have bought the air ticket, midnight flight from Singapore to Narita, return is from Haneda to Singapore. Because that time my wife and me haven't decided where to go, that's why we bought the air ticket first. After that only deal with the location.

This is my first time to Japan. I'm thinking of starting from Tokyo all the way to Osaka then fly back to Tokyo Haneda airport. The flight ticket time does not look so pleasing to me. Somehow if comparing with train, Train is even faster than flight for my case. haha

So u suggest to finish tokyo area first, then after that taking train to Kyoto, then Osaka. Then flight back to Tokyo?
