Hi, looking for help in understanding on Shinkansen travel from Kyoto Station to Shinjuku (and help with understanding the Hyperdia search result).
1. I will touch down in Kansai Airport. I can just buy the ticket there right? Doees the counter staff speak English? Do I need to show Hyperdia or prepare some printout?
2. Hyperdia shows that the shinkansen from Kyoto Station reach at Shinagawa, then I have to transfer to JR Yamanote Line (Outer loop). This transfer need to go out? Or no need? Is shinkansen ticket's destination is actually Shinagawa and not Shinjuku? But the price show all the way to Shinjuku though. A bit unsure.

QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Oct 30 2017, 10:34 AM) i plan to stay 3 days in kyoto, and the rest of 7 days in osaka. during my stay in osaka, i will use one day to go nara should i take amazing pass and kansai thru pass? those pass covers train from airport right? Well, get both. Get Kansai One Pass too, for the discounts. You have 10 days in both cities. Amazing Pass max 2 days, Kansai Thru Pass max 3 days. Just calculate how many trips you want to take loh. And look at the discounts/promotions for both passes. Count how many places you want to. Single round trip to Nara won't cover cost of Kansai Thru Pass, but you can use Kansai Thru Pass in Kyoto. Again, depends on how many bus/subway trips you plan to do there.
