Just keep it! Aren't you travelling to Japan anymore? ohmy.gif
I normally keep a few cards so that I can lend it to my friend when they came over for a visit. Since I am not there anymore I just return it back and get the cash. smile.gif Just keep one is enough for me.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Is this better?

09/01/18 (Revised) - Arayashima>Fushimi Inari>Dinner at Gion - 権兵衛 or 祇をん 松乃
11/01/18 - Kobe beef - How about this? A5 Kobe beef Restaurant [ビフテキのカワムラ 三宮本店]
13/01/18 (Revised) - Sumiyoshi Taisha>Kuromon Market (Lunch)>Dotonbori
14/01/18 (Revised) - Osaka Castle/Nissin instant Ramen Musuem

is it worth for me to take Kansai Thru Pass? Or just take ICOCA & haruka only?

Thanks in advance!!!
*
When Reach KIX at Day 1 buy ICOCA + Haruka + KTP

Used ''Haruka'' Limited Express from Kansai Airport to Kyoto
9 , 10 , 11 used KTP on Kyoto , Kobe , Nara part
12, 13, 14 at Osaka part then used ICOCA
Last Day from Osaka to Kansai Airport used ''Haruka'' again

ビフテキのカワムラ 三宮本店 minimum need 60k - 80k Yen for A5 Kobe Beef (2Pax)
If you got the budget only. Or alse I can recommended you other good stuff at Kobe rather than that Steakland.
Kobe Beef part you can try at Kuromon market biggrin.gif That Kobe beef I Approved. one of the Best

Kobe nice restaurant can try ブラジリアーノ . Delicious Brazilian food + Ultimate Kobe Harbor view. One of my Pocket-list restaurant.

Hi guys, I am travelling to Japan in December. Below is my plan, which is more or less confirmed:

Day 1 – arrive Tokyo Haneda
Day 2 – Tokyo
Day 3 – Disneyland
Day 4 – Disney Sea
Day 5 – Travel to Kyoto
Day 6 – Kyoto
Day 7 – Day trip to Osaka and return to Kyoto at night
Day 8 – Travel to Hokkaido via shinkansen, overnight at Hakodate
Day 9 – Travel to Niseko
Day 10 – Niseko
Day 11 – Travel to Lake Toya
Day 12 – Lake Toya
Day 13 – Travel to Sapporo
Day 14 – Sapporo
Day 15 – Travel to Tokyo via shinkansen
Day 16 – Tokyo
Day 17 – Tokyo
Day 18 – depart from Tokyo Narita

My plan is to get the 14 days JR pass due to my schedule to and fro Hokkaido and will only activate it on the day to Kyoto. And in order to avoid standing in the train (assume it's peak season) I will be utilising my JR pass to reserve seats.

In Tokyo, I will use the PASMO/SUICA etc card as suggested above.

In Hokkaido, I believe I am able to utilise the JR pass on certain train rides.

Is this plan OK or is there a better way to save some money in terms of transportation?

Thanks.

Bro, before I go through your itinerary, can share if us if you have already bought your flight ticket? If bought already, possible to change?

I see your itinerary, I can foresee you gonna spend very close to 1 day of your time just on travelling. Not to mention you going to be very exhausted after the trip.

I've shared on this before but I guess there'll be no one who will dig through all the pages loll.

SIM card that I can recommend: https://hello1010.my/country/asia/japan.html
The value is good and line is fast. I used it in Tokyo last month and there were no issues encountered.

Optionally if you're travelling in a group of 3 or 4, might want to consider portable WIFI. In the travel group chat, at least 2 have complained having problems with Travel Recommend's connection. As such, you may want to look at other options.

Thanks i will go get it rclxm9.gif

Hi,

Thank you so much for your feedback.

Alright will buy ICOCA + Haruka + KTP 3 days

Omg! rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif Min 60k-80k is so expensive TT. Is there any other good stuff at Kobe at Steakland?? The reason i choose Steakland its cause of price of 3180/pax. I think if its 5k yen below per pax should be ok.

Noted. Will definitely try Kobe beef at Kuromon Market Osaka

Will also take note of ブラジリアーノ . Delicious Brazilian food + Ultimate Kobe Harbor view while visiting Kobe

Thank you thank you very much rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

Hi, the itinerary is fixed and I have my reasons for that. It's just the matter of whether I can save some extra bucks out of any traveling passes. If spending is inevitable to complete my journey then I will have to live with it.

it'll be pretty tiring, but of course it's doable

would suggest longer days in kyoto and osaka, but imo should just stick to tokyo region (kanto) and then hokkaido region

you'll get to explore more

My cousin is there. Its been raining almost daily for the past 2-3 days.

And from the weather forecast (Japan's version is very accurate), it'll be raining throughout this whole week.
https://weather.yahoo.co.jp/weather/27/6200.html

It's the same in Tokyo, which seems to experience worse - long hours of rain with little sun.

Yeshhh he's visiting both Kyoto and Osaka.
It's prone to rain in Spring, Autumn and Winter ^___^ bear with it! For the locals, it's a blessing to have rain.

Suggest that you to re-look into your itinerary and back up your plan with more indoor activities/ visits.

It may be in Japanese, but I'm sure you can interpret it from the pictures and time. This will help you plan your day/ activities better!

No problem! Kyoto weather forecast isn't too different than Osaka.
This is the Kyoto version: https://tenki.jp/forecast/6/29/6110/26100/10days.html
