Nicehash profit drop is due to the Bitcoin segwit2x and bip148(usaf)...Alot of people are concerned that the blockchain would split into two (hard fork).. It will be downhill until August 1.

According to their developer they will disable automatic payment on that day too.

In the pic he is running lbry credit through nicehash miner.. Nicehash miner automatically pick the most profitable algorithm to mine, highest bidder for the algorithm = the program automatically choose to mine it.

there many algorithm including daggerh, equihash, cryptonight, etc

BIP 148, for example, is moving ahead with its user-activated soft fork (UASF) that would seek to push SegWit live without explicitly asking miners for support. SegWit2x, meanwhile, plans to pair SegWit with a 2 MB block-size increase, boosting transaction capacity further by tweaking the bitcoin's underlying rules.

People are afraid of hardforks, which would cause 2 separate bitcoin like Ethereum Classic and Ethereum, ( BOTH IDENTICAL BUT LOOK AT THE PRICE )

Also, bitcoin is the main driving force to all altcoins, bitcoin goes up = same goes for most altcoins. Now bitcoin price is about 2.5k USD, altcoin dropped even more.. Less profitable to mine = Buyer bid lower on the algorithm = Lower payout on nicehash.

Those high-end nvidia card tends to run quite hot, so it's okay.

Try x11gost, it might run even hotter.

Too bad I'm still very young, dont have much money so I only own a 970, 1050ti, 750ti
I run the 1050ti and 750ti passively through my old useless computer...
Makes about RM400 per month after I modded the bios for both 1050ti and 750ti to increase overclocking ability.
The 970 nets me 200 more per month but doesn't usually run it because its a power hog.

Currently sold out

I guess next batch all sure be using the mining GPU lol .... but still cheaper than building yourself

Buy 1 unit then throw at company lol ....

They are using 470 and 480...Why not wait for new series and buy the new ones with higher efficiency

Remember that our electric isnt that cheap and 100W heat outpout is about 1 adult
Imagine running 3000W in your room....

Correct. It might look like you earn only abit now, I was getting like 5-6mBTC on nicehash on 2014 and now they are like rm10 per mBTC

Bitcoin that I hold last year already 4x in value.

Do you guys know Siacoin,
You rent your storage to other about 2USD per TB and you get paid in Siacoin. If you lose data then you lose your coins.

BTW 100TB is nearly 200usd and is easily scaled up. Buy industrial grade HDD to reduce the risk of losing data.

I don't recommend cloud mining AT ALL. Why don't the companies run the miners themselves if it's profitable?
