1060 only. Don't have the money to get 1070 or 1080. I'm just a poor officer worker lol.

The price is actually not bad but do they sell the cards individually? I just need to buy 1 1060 6gb. I prefer Zotac because of their long warranty period.

That you have to check with the shop.

If you walk in want to buy straight 2 - 3 cards they know already miner.
*
Lol I wish I can afford to buy 2 or 3 cards at once. I will try asking them and see whether can I buy just one card.

Ok I believe this has gone on long enough. It's fine if you have our own opinion on whatever type of mining that you are invested in but to invade another thread to prove your point is where the line has to be drawn. Everywhere has their own reasons on what type of investments they choose to invest in. For cloud mining investors, you already have your own dedicated thread. if your sole purpose to post here is to argue why cloud mining is better then by all means do so in your own thread. We do not need such things here.

Just curious, when you mine, which wallet address are you using?
Apart from hardware wallet, which wallet is recommended?
*
If you are gonna sell the moment you get the coin then exchange wallet. If you are holding then hardware wallet or hot wallet if you don't have a hardware wallet.

We can't stop that. The last time someone tried I got called out by the head honchos there. You are free to try again.

Got a few rigs running on galax geforce gtx1060. 140mhz each

Thing is I need to pay 20% maintenance fee every month of whatever I manage to mine as I am parking my rigs in the farm.

Is it more worthy to run my own farm or 20% is fair?
*
It will obviously be more worth to mine yourself. Remember these guys are out to make a profit and no do charity.

thanks for the input. the difference in ROI between 3 months ago and now is also due to the recent crash in crypto right? not purely due to increase in mining difficulties?

I have heard of pc shop keeper saying that GC used for mining would void the warranty. true?

would it be better to buy a custom rig? or build one based on recommended spec?
*
Buy and build it yourself. Obviously those shops will find ways to escape from helping you claim warranty.

Hey investors, anyone interested to buy my GPU rig?
Letting go so I can free up more circuit quota for incoming ASIC miners.
The one at the bottom is the GPU rig.

how you guys deal with fan noise?

found any silent fan available ???

The fans are noisy and no way to change them. You’ll have to live with the noise.
