True it is linked to my gmail and fb which will be provided too

haha, of course, btw once you bind your l2r to a gmail / fb, that is it, you wont be able to bind it to a different fb / gmail ( in case if you want to sell your account )
i have confirmed this with l2r customer support,

take advantage of the party system. 1.check their clan(you can see what map their members are on) 2.go to that map 3.search party and find their names 4.click move to party leader to get to their channel. 5.check mini map for pinpoint location 6.leave party 7. PK

btw, there is really a drop penalty, i recall reading it somewhere in l2r forum, if you are 5 lvl above monster that you are hitting, drop will be slightly reduced, for example if you are lvl 80 and you are hitting lvl 70 mob, drop will be reduced, if you are lvl 80 you must hit at least a lvl 76 mob

you can switch it off by tapping the quest bar located at your left side, tap once to off and on,
