The description you given is way too short for us to provide any troubleshooting guidance.

So you are saying when you are connected to the 5GHz Wifi, the speed is slower than the 2.4GHz wifi?

QUOTE(keyo @ Jun 16 2017, 08:32 AM) My router asus ac55uhp ,adapter is dlink dwa182 definitely something wrong with the router. From router and adapter just less then 3 meter and no wall When im usning N mode test peed can get 31mbps If i youse ac1200 mode my download speed some time 1 mbps some lessthen 10mbps but upload speed is ok Adapter i just buy yesterday Tq for reply asus routers are a hit and miss affair. Try using another router if possible. If speed is okay, then check the settings on asus. |

If switching adapters doesn't help, the fault lies in the router.

QUOTE(keyo @ Jun 28 2017, 04:42 PM) Hi keyo,Can you try ping the router using command prompt "ping 192.168.1.1 /t" when connected to the 5GHz? Try monitor the time on the command prompt see got any abnormal ms. And then try ping Google also and monitor the time. You can try change the channel of the 5GHz and test again. Wireless->General->Select 5GHz->change the channel at Control Channel. Thank you |
