My booking and delivery process takes less than 10 days for Civic 1.8. The day that my loan was approved, someone else's loan was rejected. As I am not very color-centric person, I just take his/her car that was reserved for him/her. Loan approved last wednesday, car arrived yesterday.

I really love the car, the BRAKE HOLD function alone allows me a relaxing drive on heavy traffic, not worrying that my car might unneccessary move forward or backward onto other people's car.

P/S : I did not meet a lot of Rubies on the road.

I have nothing much to do today, so I installed a screen protector on the HUD. Look like it fits perfectly. Takes me 15 minutes to clean, remove dust and stick that thing.

I use this cheaper than cheap Raytech. The headlight will light up easily, when I parked in front of my roofed office, even in bright daylight. Occasionally it will embarass me on the road as well, even on bright sunshine. But after a few days, get used to that as other Honda City lights up as well, when mine did. Small matter lah this one.

where u bought the screen protector bro?
does it cover entire screen surface up till the audio , volume touch buttons there or just the display screen?
*
Lazada. I pasted the link in the past few pages. It does cover all the capactive touch button audio, volume etc. I believe that it is specifically cut for our Civics.

Why waste money? Your infotainment screen is fixed to the car and not in danger of being scratched.

If you would have kids that munches ice cream inside the car and touches that screen every 2-3 minutes, you will probably think otherwise. I am talking about boys below 6 years old that I have. What they saw is Apple Carplay and they thought that that HUD is an ipad.

I visited quite a few Honda showrooms before getting my Civic and I can tell you Honda SA have very little knowledge of the product they're selling. I had to educate them each time. Most of the time they just blurt things out to satisfy the buyer but it's not necessarily true. Best place to ask for real feedback is forums like this. The folks here are quite open about their experiences.  smile.gif

I remember last month when I collected my car, I walked away from the car expecting it to lock itself. The SA tell me with a straight-face : The Walk-Away auto lock is only reserved for the higher-end CRV ! I didn't want to tell him otherwise, in front of everybody, so I texted him afterwards. I guess, selling is their top-priority.

But in term of promises and reliability - he's one of the best SA I have ever met.

Or Global Amity Bangi. Just went for 1000KM service just now In at 12pm out by 12:30. very spacious and comfy waiting place. Service Advisor friendly, fixed for me my loose seat adjustment casing at the driver seats. Not sure what was adjusted, but the steering wheel feels lighter than before.
