This situation of CR, I read from one of the youtube comments, most probably CR feel that RM is not doing enough to help him in this tax thing. This 'maneuver' could be concocted by Mendes to let the RM hierarchy to safeguard one of their prize asset. It's a subtle hint of threat from CR's camp I suppose.

Realistically, only 4 clubs can afford CR7. United, City, PSG, and Chelsea.

Seems like no destination for CR7 since rumours that JM doesn't want CR7 at United. Affinity for United means he won't sign for City or Chelsea, slim chance but it's still a possibility. PSG means stepping down from high level football. CR7 already in no way out contract at Real Madrid.

I think Ed Woodward should focus on the targets given by JM instead of blindly chasing on a legend who once in a while expressed that he's unhappy just to get a deal from RM.
