its location-dependant lar..... if your place got 3.5G, then u can opt to subsribe the higher speed one... at 768kbps. if 3G only, then you can access the line with 384kbps.... sweat.gif

when it comes to gaming, u know lar, better bandwdith provides better gaming experience... icon_idea.gif

in conclusion it's also bad form to "rub salt into wounds". tongue.gif

i'm also thinking that if one is playing on a more populated server, the lag is worst compared to the newer servers. the newer ones are generally 50% less latency than the older ones.

the 400-700 latency of tht tw wow server is normal compared to the us servers, nothing to brag about... my chinese ed friends are there but since i'm a "banana", i can't join them... everything is in mandarin, augh...

i play on gorg, one of the 1st servers up... like i say, the latency for me ranges from 300-400 to 2-3k... spikes up and down, dc even sometimes.. but that depends on the time of day... i tink if you want a stressless connection, go play on a new server...

and from a maxis broadband user to another.. don't brag la pls... i bet in a few months when more people in your area has subscribed to it, i would really like to see what you say then, lol... smile.gif

my area is starting to get congested... used to have around 100kbps pure http download... now i get about 50-60... 80-90 if i'm lucky... sad.gif

well that depends if maxis can give constant ~400ms latency for WoW I will move over in a heartbeat. which sadly is not the case...so I'm stuck with streamyx

maxis cant give constant latency but it has been playable for me compared to tmnut... but yeah, maxis broadband has it's shit days too... so i also suggest that you just stick it out with your tmnut...
