I'm getting this phone soon. But just want to ask the W580 users whether the sliding mechanism tend to you know ... Cause I used samsung slide phone last time. But the sliding mechanism sucks. Phobia I guess. Thanks in advance for the reply.

Well.. i tested the phone and the slide is quite firm.. very solid feel.. u may try the phone when u wanna buy at the phone store.. its one good phone..

Slide it up and down several times to see whether its good or not.. but SE slide so far no problems 1 la.. Like W850 no problems till now also..

can state what samsung model u using? for me,i think samsung slider are far better than SE

Its true that samsung has made more slider phone and has more experience in it.. but i see my fren d900, use long already the slide get really hard to push up and slide back down.. Like has a lot of friction when sliding up.

me have experienced on SE w850 and samsung U600...but both onli stay wif me for short period d...both having good slider...smooth...

Q: is it this model white colour run out of stock???

did someone using samsung E840, if this model compare to W580i, which one u all prefer, dont want compare the design, compare the function and the sound quality, photo.......

in terms of design this phone is good !! but i prefere the combination of green and black like s500i than white and orange ...eventhough this is walkman phone ... green is nicer le ...

Hmm about that im not sure as i've never use a samsung handphone before. Planning to get e900 i wonder will it have the same problem?

Some say white wont be selling in M'sia but i got receive 3 white sets b4 lo.. Now only left grey colour, white no stock oredy..

huh! no stock !!!! ...then surely they boost the price higher than grey wan ....

well.. should be.. who knows.. but i last time sold white w580 same price as grey la..

tat time i bought K550i ...those hp seller said white is limited so more expensive ....
