I just bought mine few days ago & checked it was manufactured week 38 of 2008, so hopefully i wont face the cracking keys problem.

week 38? just 5 week ago..really brand new

it's about RM700++...not more than RM800 in KL

RM600+ for AP RM700-800 for ORI.

wow...the phone already cheap now..last time i bought for rm13xx...

now my phone have 7 keys that got crack(1-7)..haha

but im glad now that my friend help me installing new flash menus...its cool...

How is the camera quality ??

since W580 and S500 are nearly 100% same spec (of coz S500 lacks some of W580 features), the camera is ok for 2.0mp quality compared with 5310 XM 2.0mp.

I have a question here ~
my friend just bought a w580, and theres a weird issue about the illumination, the right side of the light is always difference from the left , dunno y

I've try difference themes and it results the same, ie left: yellow right: red | left: greenish right: blue

its just weird..
( p/s : too lazy to google around now )

The w580i still facing the keypad problem ?

Not after those manufactured after week 38 from release date. Mine so far no cracks.

guys , my sister's w580 facing a problem is that the phone firmware doesnt have chinese language pack nor can't read chinese.

so , you guys have any idea can flash the phone so that can have chinese language pack ? sorry I'm noob at phones.

guys i wanna know how can i backup my contacts from my 580 to the p1... coz tmr i will trade in the phone so i will have to let go of it there... my contacts are more than 350 so cant backup into the mobile phone...any other way? please reply asap...

one question im thinking of gettin this phone for my sister... since u guys been using this phone for quite a while wats ur take on it... she doesnt like those fancy features...can play music well n snap decent pictures is good enough... this phone specs wise seems good for her... but i read got keypad crack problem and all ... so im wondering is it a good buy ?

Haha, my son's W580 also like that once. I knock knock it on the table twice, then ok back. No problem since then.

but i knock and throw also not ok bak... How?

If that is the case, you may have a more serious problem. Send it back to the shop for repair (if you still like the phone). If not buy a new phone.
