QUOTE(ginagreen @ Jun 22 2017, 09:41 AM) Have you ever gone to Jakarta? If you go there, try Manado (North Sulawesi) food in a restaurant called Beautika, that's really spicy and tasty with tons of spices and herbs combinations, truly my favorite spicy food of them all! So far I have not yet tasted anything that can match up to that. It's so spicy that you may feel you want to give up already. Your mouth is burning, your cheeks is tingling, you're sweating all over even from your scalp but yet it's so tasty that you just cannot resist to fight back and keep digging! |

QUOTE(hanhanhan @ Sep 6 2017, 05:04 PM) i'm looking for spiciest foods in klang valley. Do you like Indonesian food? If so then try Leko-Leko at the E-Curve Damansara and order their sambal at the spiciest level (can come with hot plate beef ribs or fried/grill chicken or fried talapia fish). Their sambal is freshly made to order based on few level of spiciness.so far can identify few :- 1. hot wings (seaweed club spinoff) highest level of spiciness is quite good. almost like 2x samyang 2. shifu wantan mee (taman segar) - order world spiciest pan mee. dont like the taste but it's spicy (herb taste) 3. frontera (jaya one) spicy wings - almost like hot wings but diff taste. looking for ppl to recommend more. i've lost hope after chilli rush jaya one closed. Another one is try the nasi padang mix rice in the Pavillion food court LG. They have the green chilli sambal which was pretty spicy when I tried it many years ago. They also have fried chicken or fish cooked with the same green chilli sambal in the menu. Not sure if that food court still have the same nasi padang or not now though. |

Btw a few months ago I have found the spiciest food I have ever eaten but it's just a snack (crackers) and it's from Indonesia. It's called Kerupuk Setan (The Devil Crackers), and it's just so bloody HOT that I can only eat maybe max 10-15 small pieces of it at one go. My wife tried only 1 piece and she stopped already! The whole package weigh just around 150-200gr but it lasted more than a month for me before it's finished. After eating this, drinking alone is not enough to relieve the burning sensation, that I need to eat maybe some fruit (like banana or mango) or slice cheese to cool down the burn!
