Sorry for ask funny question.. anyone know where to buy tea leaves for 茶王? Usually i will order this type of tea during Bak Kut Teh session.. just now dropped by Purple Tea shop trying to ask for this, that seller said it is "Oolong Tea". So i bought one box (consist of 20 teabags) to try out the test... but it didnt taste close to that 茶王 i like..

online survey seemed like it is more like a nick name for good tea though.. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

No such thing as 茶王...this is just BKT shop marketing...

Many types of tea...and many grades too...the BKT shop probably low grade tie guan yin...which is a type of oolong...

Real "茶王" cost more than gold by weight...definately not sold and drink together with BKT...

If you research more, 茶王 is given to the most premium tea or most proud of tea that a tea maker produce.

It's just like ordering leung sui at coffee shop. Barley, luo hon guo, chrysanthemum etc are all leung sui. Ordering leung sui in general, depends on what leng sui the coffee shop make for the day.
