Oh thanks!
I'm trying to farm Zorah armor and then will farm Tobi kadachi to upgrade weapons before I attempt other high rank quest. Haha. I joined someone's Zorah quest yesterday and died twice without any high rank armor!!! Luckily didn't screw up the quest. Haha. After upgraded two armors to Zorah, seems better now, can survive somehow now. Still need the gem!

I went with the alpha one cause I figure that I don't need decorations at the moment, will look into it when I start farming for my build. Haha!
Yeah, I went for Zorah α too. Hopefully I'll be back home by tonight and keeping my fingers crossed to get another two more sets of armour to complete it. My Palico has a complete set of Zorah. laugh.gif

you are able to capture a Deviljho but stuck at assigned quest at HR11 ... well that’s a new one
I was in Expedition or some quest and there's this guy helping me. He did the heavy lifting and it was me that planted the Shock Trap + Tranq Bomb (2x). It was a good hunt (with a helping hand of course). laugh.gif

One question: Is Bazelgeuse programmed to appear randomly and it feels to be quite on a frequent basis when you are hunting other monsters? For example, half way through fighting with Tobi-Kadachi, Bazel will just comes party crashing, Anjanath was the same, it happened with Pukei-Pukei and Rathalos...etc. I feel like I'm a Bazel magnet. laugh.gif

Yo all. Can help to check when I can fight Bazelguese?
Which quest rank is it?

Would like to farm its armor.
If I'm not mistaken, I think it appears in HR11 or HR12. Hmm...Just when you hit High Rank, perhaps?

Had a good run with fellow friends yesterday. I think they are from Lowyat.NET as well. I'm the female character (Long Sword + Zorah armour set). 2 captured and 1 kill.

There is more risk as a melee character than range, so it makes sense for range to get some additional aggro over melee. Even when the monster is attacking a range player, the melee will still need to watch for its hitboxes or else we would take a hit as well
Tail swipe kill FTW! laugh.gif

Carry a thunder bug and trap tool and you can craft on the go. I craft using the radial dial. At least can have 2 spare shock trap. And for capture mission get ez trap. So that equals 4 traps. If add in 1 pitfall trap, then carrying 5 traps total. I think enough di... Hahaha
Although not the best player in Monster Hunter World, I make it a habit to carry 1 Shock Trap, 1 Pitfall Trap, 8 Tranq Bomb, 3 Flash Pod.

As alternative, I'll bring along some Dung Pod (but sometimes it's best not to use it as to let them have it as turf war!) and Screamer Pod (I don't really see any use for this, maybe it's effective with certain monsters only)

I'm officially HR14! laugh.gif I still don't know how to fish! Damn it!

How To Unlock: Talk to the Field Team Leader after completing Zorah Magdaros assigned quests.

Which Field Team Leader???????? I am already HR14 at this moment, i didn't get this. sad.gif
Field Team Leader is the guy that saved your arse when you were attacked by an Anjanath (beginning of the story). Correct me if I'm wrong thou. laugh.gif

Screamer pod is useful for Diablo and Black Diablo, when it starts digging into the ground and you have to force it to get out. Really annoying monster that one.
Hmmm...but based on my observation, they'll always burrow a while and will sprung out suddenly after a few seconds. Diablo is pretty much vertical and Black Diablo will be horizontal. Yeah, I'm keeping my eyes on 'em monsters. laugh.gif

Screamer Pods for these two suckers. Noted and thanks!

One more question, my Pitfall Trap and Shock Trap are useless against Kirin. In addition, there's no effect from shooting Flash Pods also. Quite an annoying one.

traps are not going to work against elder dragon cool2.gif
O...M...G. I need to hide in the tent. No wonder there's no effect or whatsoever from the traps. Damn it...Wasted a few times. laugh.gif Meaning to say Kirin, Nergi, ...cannot be captured/tranquilised? The only option is to be slayed?

Don't need bring screamer. Never even seen people use it.
Yeah, I tested it twice but yields nothing in return. At least Dung Pod got some use thou, especially if you do not want other monsters come to kacau. Took a few shots at Deviljho when Bazelgeuse came out of nowhere. laugh.gif Bazelgeuse couldn't take the smell and flew off. laugh.gif

Cannot, but Kirin are easier to kill if you equipped with light bow. His atk styles are predictable.
It's pretty much wax on, wax off when I'm fighting against Kirin. Poke a few times, run off. Come in again and poke a bit more. Repeat. She's like Zeus in Dota2. laugh.gif

QUOTE(jellybean-fish @ Apr 4 2018, 03:03 PM)
any patch note?
Patch Release Date
April 4th 0:00 UTC (April 3rd 8pm EDT)

Patch Major Changes

In Update Ver. 2.00, a balance update to the bow’s Dragon Piercer attack. It fixed a bug where you could shoot past the attack’s angle limitations. However, this update introduced a bug. When the target’s lined up with the reticle at a fast speed and the Dragon Piercer fires, it was discovered that the player may not be able to face in the direction of the reticle. This has been fixed. Even if you aim at a target quickly in a direction you aren’t facing, the reticle will aim that way.
During Dragon Piercer, if the reticle is aimed at an area outside of the allowed range, the attack will fire in the direction the player is facing.

When selecting loadouts during Arena Quests, a bug occurred where the item window order would change. This has been retooled as part of the game design.

Details:

1. From the default cursor position, the item pouch order when checking equipment info will be from left to right
2. Next, the fixed items will appear in the following order, left to right. Whetstone, Capture Net, Fishing Rod, and BBQ Spit.
3. The last items will be the specialized tools, listed from left to right.
4. More minor bugs fixed

Addendum: Anyone augmented Zorah Magdaros full set armour? Is it good? Seriously thinking of getting mine augmented. laugh.gif Nergigante full set is fugly.

Sometimes the behaviour of the monsters are just crazy. I was hit once, flung away like few metres away, still on the floor trying to get a footing. While I'm gaining my composure, it jumped on me and dealt some damage. Saw a few stars around my head and it side-bashed me. GGWP.

From the beginning until my death, I couldn't do anything. Couldn't run away, couldn't dodge, couldn't do anything. Zzz...

Anyway, did some augmentations and later I'll share a screenshot on the stats and whatnot. Hopefully can get a few pointers and advice from the players here.
