Hi,how to consider affinity in weapon ?

from what i know,affinity numbers shows you the number of percentage to deal extra damage.

Right now i gathering material for deviljho bow.I have weakness exploit lvl 2 and affinity 8%.Need to figure out if there are any calculation that i can use to calculate my damage other than on the internet that i found

yes it's crazy good. Was hitting tempered jho yesterday, i could have been one shot many times over but thanks to divine blessing, damages are always reduced, and i was only using diving blessing level 2. Level 3 is even more amazing!

Seriously, you don't have to stack full DPS. Too many builds out there telling you to do so, but honestly most are only able to utilize the 20~40% of the DPS, unless you are a pro gamer who can dodge, evade always at the exact time and be in the right positions most of the time.

Speaking of which:

The recovery Hp augment is pretty damn good.
You can be bleeding/fire and still have net positive health regeneration lol.

Catastrophe light.
DPS wise, there are plenty better weapons.
But this alone can increase my health despite being on fire.

Maybe some of you are playing it wrong.

I grind for 8 hours on 19 Apr and already got both Taroth alpha & beta armour set, all costume armours, both Taroth & Samurai palico set.

General Gathering Hub strategy for good loot within shortest time spent :
1) Use the search Online session filter, set to "Experience" & "Kulve Taroth" preferences.
2) Join the resulting session populated with at least 13/16.
3) Check the current pursuit level and the current available siege squad pursuit level.
4) If the current pursuit level is 3 or 4 and the available squad pursuit level is 1, don't waste your time joining them.
5) Wait for someone to start a siege at current level 3 or 4, then join them if members are HR 100+.
6) Once you complete the round (not expected to break the horns here), your rewards level will jump from 1 to at least 8 pursuit 3 or level 10 in pursuit 4 depending on the hub's siege progress.
7) Wait until someone started pursuit 5 or 6, then join them if members are HR 100+.
8) When the horns are broken by other squad, your rewards level should be around 15 or even the max 17.
9) If your squad manage to break the horns, then if you are lucky you can carve max 2 melded weapons per horn piece.
Bonus) Get your forging gem from the carving horn plating drop anytime during any pursuit level. Don't rely on the end quest rewards, because it is super rare when it happens.

It's not selfish when I do contribute for parts breaking to the hub's siege progress and heal team members too.

Don't tell me you will keep joining level 1 pursuit siege to "help" when part cannot be broken easily here.

I have been played so many quests, investigations and etc. But my HR still maintain at HR29? any idea?

Exactly what I am doing right now. Start playing this since July. Now still HR40. HR isnt important anyway unless you want brag or stuff. There is HR150 random guy respond to my SOS and still noob. So Higher HR doesn't mean pro, lower HR also doesn't mean newbie.

There is also a speedrunner. What I don't get when you beat super tough AT monsters within less than 4 minutes. Like where is the fun? I rather take my sweet time beating them around 10-20 minutes. The older series major quests are always at brink of 50 minutes completion time. When I think about it World is the first MH game feel too easy and convenient, lot of stuffs removed and new stuffs added, like the ability to change armors/equipments at camp site.
