I never leave out stun resistant everytime I fight rajang. But relatively speaking rajang is so much easier to beat compared to shara.

Really?? Shara is easier due to it isn't a fast kind of animal. Rajang moves around so much, I could barely keep up with him. He can even do a reverse jump out of nowhere which annoys me so badly. Shara's spirit bomb at least is static compared to Rajang's nuclear slam.

I agree. Maybe because when fighting Rajang I go for slow kill, hit and run playstyle with GS, which makes things easier. Rajang never carted me before, and as for shara, God knows how much I threw away my controller rofl. Now my armor stats is a lot better, obviously shara is somewhat easier than Rajang.

Btw, can you please explain to me why so many people suggested using Silver Sol Beta armor for DB builds? I have checked the skills on the armor and they aren't really that fantastic for DB builds. Am I missing something here? Or people are saying it for the slots?

Edit: Nvm, I think it is due to because of the elemental boost when you have 4 pieces of armor

But do take note you can't capture elder dragons.

Even if the mission is to Hunt instead of Capture?

Playing with my friends, they kept on capturing instead of killing in the Hunt Mission.

I is still noob, playing 3 pepul as support only hahaha.

Yes, hunt you can either kill or capture. But the rewards are better for capturing and shorten the hunting time since you won't need to kill it.

During a capture you can ONLY capture it, not kill. Killing it will result in mission failure.

the tricky part is keeping the pukei alive and fighting both leshen and the jagrases.

use your flash pods, lifepowders and igni on the jagras ... try to keep one jagras alive or else leshen will keep spawning more of them.

Ahh yeah i did helped the pukei and also the gajalaka but when fighting leshen, they did not come and assist me lol...

You can opt for Glider Mantle. There's two Level 4 slots. Can put anything to your heart's content.

I would recommend you to have 1x Geologist skill. It'll enable lets you pick up an additional one more shiny monster drops.

I think I didn't do the side quest to upgrade the gliding mantle coz I barely use it,lol. Will do it next time. Gonna fight Shara again tomorrow. Gonna try to make the body and arms armor for Coalescence. I don't think I will get the tenderplate that easily coz I mostly will focus softening/attacking her tail and hind legs like previously. I saw Arekkz video and he did a Coalescence build with critical eye and it looks real powerful,lol.

Question: I seen some videos that some players are using an item that gets stuck onto the monster for a certain amount of time. It's like a 3 headed drill or somesort. What is that?

I want to ask, kill the monsters directly or capture the monsters is better in the guiding lands? Actually for me the answer is both are the same. When you kill it, you just can dig materials from the monsters like 3~4 times with one new monsters(call-out). If you capture it, you will get one new monsters(call-out) and the extra 3~4 extra materials will go into your report.

Last time, I got argue with a noob leader. I am going to capture a rajang, but the leader keep attack me to avoid me to capture it. I was wasted one of my trap. So I use farcaster to go back to camp to refill a new trap into my inventory again. This time, I wear rocksteady mantle then go to capture. The leader try to avoid me but was failed this time. Finally was successfully captured. So later that, after we went back to camp, we argue each other. The leader just simply to scold me with some rude word, I have really no idea what's the different between kill and capture that makes him so unhappy. He just simply give a noob reason to say kill directly will get more reward. What?? Come on, our reward can be get from report too after we capture it. So in the end, I really give up to continue argue with this noob, since he is leader. He want to kill or capture it's up to him. So I quit from his SOS and go to join another group.

Since that time of my bad experience. Every time when I join another player's SOS in guiding land, I never capture the monsters again unless the leader want to do it. So leader want to kill it, then we kill it. Leader want to capture it then we capture it. As long as leader is happy. There still got many strange players outside there, when we meet someone unhappy then I just quit lah. I'm now MR672 and HR999, not too high rank also but at least got higher rank than many players outside there. I also can solo the tempered silver rathalos, tempered gold rathian, tempered rajang, tempered ruiner nergigante too because i got several sets of HBG that can kill them easily by solo. I also can host myself in guiding land to become leader and ask online players come in to hunt monsters together. My home line is unifi 500mbps, fast and never disconnecting.

Actually kill or capture is no different. Besides that, I just want to go in to do my MR leveling only. I do not mind about what kind of materials I get because I got too many completed set of weapons. I can switch to LBG, HBG, switch axe, insect glaive, hammer. Just only HBG, I already got several types of build. My purpose to play in guiding land just need for leveling only.

Here is the best build for HBG to kill tempered silver rathalos, tempered gold rathian, scarred yian garuga easily.
