sets84 : i tend to get very stressed about those cleaves/aoes since becoming a resto tree. my prefered choice is 2 melee + 2 range DPS + 1 healer party mode. having 3 melee classes puts a lot of stress on a healer who still have to gear up.

and a bit nervous when i level my priest up that high. when i compare her to my resto druid, thinking of healing strat is making my head hurt a lot. ><

would you believe that i haven't been to karazhan yet? happy.gif

just taking it easy atm. i get stressed too easily if i do hardcore stuff. plus, i stop running with pugs and waiting for spots in guild groups.

it was more like learning the 5-man instances. mechanar was a pain to heal in Tree Form. in the end, i just maintained everyone's health at 20%-50%. HTs were draining too much mana from me and someone else was dying more.

Not sure why it was going wrong. We started off with 1 prot tank, 1 feral druid DPS, 1 fire/arcane mage, 1 rogue, me healing. It was tough to handle 3 ppl healing in melee. When we swapped the rogue with another mage, it was easier for me.

I'm not fully resto yet because still clearing quite a lot of quests in Shadowmoon Valley and Netherstorm. My DPS output got reduced by 50% with the resto respec. sad.gif

Mechanar hurts me. I get the feeling that Botanic and Alcatraz will be equally bad. sad.gif Ah well. Until can get better gear I suppose.

u need 3 healers at least, prince 4 (1 hybrid will do), netherspite - confirm 3, illhoof - 3 no less no more.
prince hits hard on a good tank, spike dmgs of 11k in between the cd of shield blocks happen all too often (this is one reason why pallies cannot tank) and on top of htat some of your healers are avoiding infernals. aran.... blizzard. flame wreath. is all about the healing positions and the immobility of due to circumstances. illhoof... u need 2 healers on the shackled person and 1 off healing during shackles.

and for mualgar... u need 9 healers, where ur hybrids from karazhan have to respec to healing for the first few encounters with him. it's all about sacrificing for the good of the guild.

hehe, haven't been into heroic yet. like i said, i'm not in a rush. the last game i rushed into, made me into a strange zombie. don't want that to happen again.

Yeah, I'm seriously thinking about it. I only recently spec to Resto because the guild had problems finding a main healer for non-heroic instances. Even horde side is bad atm in Aman'Thul but heard that we're better off than Dath'Remar.

At the rate I'm going, I'd probably get keyed for Heroics without ever finishing non-Heroics.

And I miss feral form. Now I can't hit for sh*t.

Still is hard to find a good group in Aman'Thul. But I suspect some of the other Oceanic PvE servers are having problems too. They seem to be jumping to Aman'Thul alot recently and I think some friends have been switching around too, so it's very bleargh.

Hmmm... I have heard rumblings that some raid groups heading into Karazhan do not bring in pallies at all. Mind you, it was the Horde group that said this and not the Alliance side. Could be that Horde players are still trying to get used to playing with Pallies still.

On the Alliance side, have heard that Shammies are going either full elemental or resto, although it's mostly the latter. Enhancement Shammies are not so loved, kinda like the Ret Pallies.

It could just be personal preference since hybrid classes aren't easy to gear up or to play.

well, i'll definitely ask him when i see him next. his guild is on a different server though so i seldom see him. they've cleared kara w/o paladins and are already doing Gruul.
