QUOTE(redframelowyat @ May 24 2009, 10:10 PM) @evilguy: the hi fi button only works when selecting 2.1 channel only. press the 2.1 button and then press hifi. you should be able more fidelity and more bass when using the hifi mode instead of the 5.1. selecting the mode will only produce sound from L/R nd sub. use this when your input are from tv or from two 2 channel source and if your ears prefer more fidelity than surround sound. when we press the h-fi button, anything will lit up on the lcd? when i press it, i don't fell anything difference at all. or it only work if we use aux input? i'm using spdif input. On thing i notice, the rear speaker sound not as clear as the front speaker. perhaps is due to the long wire it use?yes, i do wanted to know how to turn on that thing, since i already lost the instruction manual when i bought it, i doesnt know much about the enzo spec and info. can someone scan the instruction book for our reference? |

QUOTE(redframelowyat @ Jun 17 2009, 08:54 PM) claim your warranty first if its still in the warranty period. enzo 7000 really test out buyers luck, my subwoofer is out right after the warranty period is over, if there is any faulty just claim your new one. and what should i tell them when claim warranty, got hiss noise at every speaker? i dont think they take that into consideration at all. unless the woofer or satelite is totally not workingif its over try switching though various input mode, lets just hope that your reciever doesnt have any problem. |

may i know who own enzo 7000 here? mine died couple of min ago. It goes 'pop' then hear like deep fry sound followed by a burn smell. Open the unit and see bad caps all over the place. see below picture? only last 6 month.

do you think the warranty cover for the bad caps? some more i open the unit. they'll give excuse saying i voided the warranty. their pcb board design is really cheap, I'm surprise to see the circuit built inside.

well, if i not open, it wont be covered by warranty as well because it has physical burn mark. for those who own enzo 7000 you might want o sniff your receiver when it is on. If you smell like a toxic smell, i think the cap is melt already. I use to realize it. but today it just went 'pop' but it still function. Just that i don't dare to keep it on. quickly i off the power. Luckily it happen when i in front of my pc. I use to keep my pc on all the time. i can't imagine if it happen when i not around.

QUOTE(redframelowyat @ Jan 18 2010, 12:36 PM) same here, my decoder goes pop and then then it wont wtich on. Hi redframelowyat, mind telling me your model. Is it enzo 7000 as well?before this my sub is dead and the decoder is burn, so my enzo is a piece of garbage now. still thinking of salvaging the sub... QUOTE(-kytz- @ Jan 18 2010, 02:08 PM) Are all of these incidents attributed by low Quality Control? That's why i always avoid Sonic Gear since their speakers are just too darn cheap I believe the quality control is as bad as the design as well. I hope sonic gear fan will not shoot me for that statement |
