BTW, why not point your love and trusted earphone here? we just saw your comments but no recommendation from you...please do and appreciate! wink.gif

No needa get offensive bro. Most of Sonic Gear's speakers have a notorious reputation thanks to their false claims and advertising, and their low quality. However, I do agree that the Sonic Gear Earpumps are excellent for their price, considering that you can easily get them at RM35 at Viewnet. smile.gif

@mactreouser, if you're thinking of an upgrade, check out the Hippo range at Jaben Malaysia. smile.gif

One of the new products launched in Computex 2011 - The EarPump PURE - delivering superb clarity and "zero enhancement" reproduction of recordings as they were intended to be heard.

Available in Q4 of 2011 =)

you can exchange as many times as you can.

My friend had an Evo 3 and claimed warranty so many times till they even decided to extend his warranty tongue.gif
(some of the reasons why I don't buy sonic gear... they just die... hope there are improvements in the future products like how SGproductDev promised biggrin.gif)

The problem -kytz- is facing is that the retailer/reseller he bought the Earpumps from refused to exchange it as it was previously exchanged, in which even if it's the retailer/reseller's company policy, I find it to be very unethical. Not sure if SGproductDev can do anything about it, but it'll be great for us consumers if he/she can. Definitely a boost in reputation, if that's the case.

Mind letting us know where you bought the Earpumps from, -kytz-?

buntA_sennA, nothing against you or Sonic Gear, but your presence is seriously not helping Sonic Gear's reputation. There are a bunch of people that I know of, after seeing your replies, claimed that you're a dupe of SGproductDev, which will hamper all of their previous efforts on approaching their customers.

Please let SGproductDev handle the situation by themselves, they'll be able to do a much better job as you're not able to clarify or help on this situation but instead might make things worse.

@Enigmatic: If you are of the opinion that buntA_sennA is a dupe of SGproductDev then I must say I am quite disappointed in you. I always thought you were quite facile in English and would be able to distinguish the different style and level of their postings. I guess I erred in my estimation.

Oh dear. My apologies for not replying you earlier as I can no longer see your posts as you were in my ignore list for some time. sweat.gif

Don't misplace your disappointment. You have erred but fortunately not your estimate, but on your guessing instead. smile.gif Your former presumption did not take place.

We pretty much expected that people would accuse anyone with a vaguely supportive voice towards our brand to say that they are all different accounts operated by SonicGear, which is one good reason why we made it clear to our employees not to perform such acts and which is also why we don't blame people like Enigmatic for thinking it might possibly so. It is quite a reasonable assumption, considering the number of haters in this forum. It really was our fault for not being here for our supporters and letting haters get their way all the time, but hopefully we will be able to change that in the coming weeks, months, years. =)

Cheerios, we hope you have a good day!

SGproductDev, did I really sound that way? If so, my apologies, but rest assured I had no other intentions other than to allow you to step forth and answer, instead of letting a third party answer that may raise doubts. It is true that I have heard people telling me what I have reflected earlier about dupes, and therefore I have plead that buntA_sennA to step back and allow you to handle things which was beyond his/her scope as a forummer.

I am sure you'd know better than me it is not beneficial for Sonic Gear if things turn out into a flame war between buntA_sennA and many others, even more so if many already have an assumption that buntA_sennA is a dupe. To make matters worse we can't control what people think, so prevention is better in this case.

Now that I have clarified my stand, do you understand the purpose of my earlier post, SGproductDev? Once again, my apologies for allowing you to have mistakenly doubt me.

Dear Enigmatic,

Perhaps we should rephrase. We were most certainly not referring to yourself when we were talking about persons who do accuse us of creating multiple accounts, but we do recognize that you may consider this to be a possibility. We feel you have been reasonable in your accounts and can understand your rationale for asking buntA_sennA to step back but please do consider for a moment why as a company, it is not right to ask of our supporters to step back, if they have said nothing wrong. Our supporters and haters do have an equal right to express what they think, our stand here as a company is only to correct untruths where applicable.

You are right, we can't control what others say or think, but what we are here for, is to correct misconceptions, to challenge untruths and also to share more knowledge and information so that more people may understand and most of us may be able to come to a common understanding. Even when our supporters give misinformation, we should not ask them to keep mum, but instead help educate and correct what they have said where necessary. =) This applies to supporters and everyone else, alike.

We do agree that it's not beneficial to this thread if we simply have flaming back and forth. But that is also part of why we're here. As a company which provides largely objective information, we will do our best to mediate. In the first place,  the basis for buntA_sennA's overall reaction to the thread is quite simple. This is a fan club thread, why all the haters? Which, we're inclined to agree with, but we do know that everyone has a right to post wherever they please and as long as it is relevant, that it is ok. So what do we do? Team SonicGear will park themselves at their laptops ready to answer any posts and queries positive or negative, providing some of our personal opinions, but mostly just lots of information to help everyone understand why we do what we do. =)

We really do appreciate your way of showing concern for us and this thread, really truly do. Some might just jump on the band wagon and start firing at each other, your objective view on the situation is a one that is good to have on these forums. In this case however, we would feel, if Team SonicGear doesn't reciprocate the support given to us by our fans, by providing basic encouragement for them to voice their opinions... who will?

We never for one moment doubted your good intentions. =) Today's Team SonicGear representative is well... female. We reckon our intuition in recognizing that you only meant well is right on the dot. =D

Thank you, for taking the time to read this lengthy message. We hope you have an awesome weekend.

Cheers,
Team SonicGear

Well said by you, well received on my end. smile.gif Let's allow bygones be as so and potential misunderstandings be things of the past, unnecessary to be brought up. I understand your stand and I am glad that you do too on mine. I wish you all the best in recuperating Sonic Gear's once tarnished brand name.

There's something boggling me for some time though - Are the tube speakers series (eg, ApocalypX series, or the Sonata radio/player) no longer being distributed in Malaysia? I've heard good things about them, but I've hardly came across any of them for sales since a few years back.

Dear Enigmatic and power911,

The multimedia speakers with tubes is quite a sad story. We had tried to introduce this old, but awesome technology by incorporating it into modern speakers and as a product it was really very good. The Apocalypx A10 in particular was blessed with great clarity and balance, we have just couple of those left in our warehouse.

We are still not quite sure what attributed to the failure of the speakers with the tubes, perhaps it was because it was relatively expensive and our brand name could not support products at that price point at that point in time. But the products themselves are amazing, be it the Apocalypx or the Val series of radios.

We may try our luck at this again one more time, but probably much later when the SonicGear brand is more developed.

Thanks Enigmatic for standing in our shoes as well as your well wishes. We were slightly fearful that we may have offended you further in our last post but are incredibly relieved that you do understand. =D

Weekend is here, but Team SonicGear is at work. Hope everyone else has a good time though. =)

Cheers,
Team SonicGear

Oh no worries SGproductDev, no offence taken especially when there was none present in the first place. smile.gif

I may have some friends who are interested in the tube series speakers, if you're allowing any for sale that is, but I shall carry my intentions through a personal message some time soon to not further clutter the thread. smile.gif
