I just bought a HS405 headset, to my disappointment, the headset lacks bass although voice sounds clear. Is it faulty or the headset is really lack of bass?
*
if you just bought it then you gotta let it break in a while so that the speaker driver can move well
break in means to let your headset have it's first exercise before performing well
so play some songs for a few days first to allow the headset speaker to move well

note:most sonic gear products are not good in terms of quality and sound
they are normally bad quality products and easily malfunction

HP800 has bass... Compared to other SG headset... but the cabling... Just used it for...~~ few months. Now the cable got a bit prob. Real low quality. Should get a philips at that time. should be better. Another prob is... It's too heavy... When wearing it... head will feel so heavy... I'm not getting something like this next time. Want something light. The cable also... the phone line like cable(coiled cable)... Don't dare to bring it out, just use at home only... haha

Hi all.

I bought a Sonic Gear Ear Pump...surprised that it is amazing...i love it. Now wish to pass it to my sister and wish to grab another piece...but just think of...other than this model, what do you have and c'ld recommend it to me? Maybe something better than this in your opinion and the price might around that range?!

Thanks ya! drool.gif
*
you should go to Jaben Malaysia and test out the products
they are 50000X better than your earpumps
and I'm serious
sonic gear quality sucks

BTW, why not point your love and trusted earphone here? we just saw your comments but no recommendation from you...please do and appreciate! wink.gif
*
my loved and trusted earphone costs RM90 and it's hippo Epic Sparkles
cannot compare because it's more expensive than earpmp

anyway I think Edifier H180 cost around that sg earpump and the vocals sounded clearer compared to the pump
music is clear and bass is solid
Edifier H180 (RM40)(RM5 plus lol)

@mactreouser, if you're thinking of an upgrade, check out the Hippo range at Jaben Malaysia. smile.gif
*
yea
I think the cheapest one they sell is hippo pearl (correct me if I'm wrong)
they got many more.
just go take a visit at Jaben Malaysia, you'll be impressed
yuheng and walabies will be there serving/poisoning you there

PS:you can always call Mr. Edifier to ask where to buy or order edifier earphones from him smile.gif

I like the Sonic Array because it's cheap and it save a lot of space (as it can be mount on to the wall)....
Will consider the other speakers... smile.gif

Hi.

I just bought Sonic Gear ENZO 6000 and i'm having problem with the installation.

I never bought 5.1 speaker before, so i don't know how to plug the wires. But i refer to the manual and i think all wires are plugged correctly ( centre and subwoofer input to orange, left and right surround to black, left and right front to lime green ). The sound don't seem to come out.

Am i missing something here? Kindly advice me. Thanks.
*
did you set the soundcard to surround sound?
normally the soundcard will only plays sound through lime green only if didn't set anything
the front left/right only plays if default setting

i did some listening to sonic gear. Evo 3 Platinum, A3, Enzo 600 and A7. not so long though.

the A7 is the one that mostly caught my attention. uses different approach in the entire sonic gear design, that is slot port for the subwoofer. also features thin alumininum / steel sheet in front of the subwoofer. sound? the one that is connected to music is off, so i listened to the set connected to dvd player. bass is deep, much deeper than my friend's A5 and any other SG i've ever heard.

im not sure if they still use the cheap implementation on the A7 (fake tweeter / incomplete PCB) but i'm keen to see what is inside the box.
*
ahh... u've missed the evo5 platinum lol
anyway it sucks tho tongue.gif

btw,about a7,it has real tweeters tho icon_rolleyes.gif
I sacrifice a bit by putting my ears close to tweeter and the tweeter does make sound tongue.gif

I still wonder how a7 sounds tho,can tell a bit?
during that time I never get to listen properly as lots of interruption from other speakers.

mind telling more about the sound quality other than the bass? rolleyes.gif

Hi there, can anyone tell me the dimension (height, width, depth) of the woofer for Armageddon A5 & A7? I have a limited space for woofer on my pc table ><

Thanks in advanced
*
please choose a different brand wink.gif
sonic gear is prone to damage

so choose something from other brands like Edifier,Altec Lansing,Logitech

I'd recommend Edifier E3100
it is one powerful speaker and it is small enough for people with limited space.

and now with my budget of RM250 - RM300, which one should i go for dude? really need advice in this thing, because this will be my first time buying speaker. i don't have any sound card, just using built up from mobo (Asus P7P55DE-PRO).
