pm liau, but i just don't understand what makes the mod to delete or remove his thread??the thread was very clean, i don't see what's wrong with his thread that make the mod to close it, and because of that. it have been a hassle for the buyer to keep track on their purchase.

I really don't get it..what's wrong with his thread, and if there is something wrong, why now only it was deleted or remove by the mod??

care to explain why?? well i believe we all need to know what wrong so that we won't happen to do it again..

???the thread is active lar and we all know it, i just post yesterday and today when want to check on the status, suddenly it cannot access liau, i pm strongbaby, he also don't know what happen, but the thread was seems to be remove/delete, who have the ability to do so it's only the admin/mod not pointing finger at any mod/admin, but i just wonder why and what's trigger the deletion. that's the curiosity i have in my head. my doubt will still remain if i don't get a clear picture.

thread too long not active will be delete everybody know that but what if it's still active and the thread is clean got deleted??

isn't there is some question behind the act??or was it ppl misuse of their ability to do so??or there was really a question without a answer. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Don't know where ever it goes, i don't care, as long as i get a picture and clear my doubts tongue.gif seriously

well maybe because i'm 1 of the buyer, and to be honest i was a bit piss off and upset, it give everyone worries on why the thread was remove/delete i monitor the thread for updates, but the very next thing you know it was remove/delete by mod/admin without a sense reason.

well maybe there is a misunderstanding between the mod/admin with strongbaby, but please don't bring this to personal, some of the seller here is for business, and lowyat is place where they can start business with less capital. and the mod/admin is here to help to authenticate their genuine, don't just close the thread when there is ppl still on the dealing stage, another word, it's rude to do so. if the mod/admin find that the seller is alittle bit fishy, make announcement to all the thread, warn all the buyer. not just close the thread without a reason, just because it was personal/some misunderstanding. another word it will make all the buyer worries as they don't understand why the thread was close..

although the mod/admin have the right to do so, but do remember, this is a trade zone, ppl are here to deal, not here to deal half way and get the thread close for some misunderstanding and without any information..

My guess would be, those 4 threads were seperate Acer, LG, Viewsonic and Samsung threads all selling monitors so they were invisied so that you'll make them into 1 single LCD thread
I'll ask around to check on this

If you need the buyer list let me know, i'll give u a copy

And may i ask why strongbaby himself has not come here at all?

Read here for some reasons by the mod.

QUOTE(se7en @ Feb 6 2007, 12:26 PM)
We still haven't received a favorable response from strongbaby to allow him to conduct sales of this nature.

Edison, while your argument could be correct, it doesn't explain how he is able to provide 100% cash back (ie FREE) hard drives if buyer pays up in full and waits 90 days.

While strongbaby might be a genuine seller, allowing this method of sales will lead to abuse from other sellers with more sinister motives.

Make no mistake, 90 working days is close to 4 months.

QUOTE(goldfries @ Feb 6 2007, 01:55 PM)
we're not against strongbaby.

as what se7en mentioned

we're concerned that IF this practise was allowed, others could practise it too and it would be opening more avenues of abuse.

One honest seller selling in that way/strategy doesn't guarantee some other sellers will not abuse that business strategy.

The threads were all invisibled after I have received evidence that strongbaby persisted in selling via his '7/14/21/28 business days' method like what youngkies quoted above, despite us telling him he could not. In fact, he gave an undertaking he would not sell via this method again over here: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=10314308

We have invisibled the threads for your own safety as potential buyers as we have deemed the selling via this method, and the possible use of your money in the interim, to be highly risky and potentially fraudulent.

The inconvenience is strongbaby's fault. He knew all along he was not allowed to sell his products via this method. We have left the threads in which he was selling via conventional methods alone, thus proving its not a 'personal reason'.

It may be true but that isn't fair at all because strongbaby can offer what he say he can , if others follow his way of doing business in the future and appear to be a conman, wouldnt it be the forumer/buyer or even admin to aware of them? I know he make it hard for other forumer that selling the similar item but if he can offer that price, why not? (bar the FREE stuff)

so its that means i have to do super quick instant delivery of goods and not allowed to implement my delivery/lead time of days to prepare the goods ??

even the new re-created thread been shut by you with new 1 single price, 1 single delivery days. so you having problem with my price i sell, or just hate the working days word or personal hate here ?

or should i put down a disclaimer note like this below:

It seems I'll need to please everyone.
No moderator/admins of lowyat.net are responsible for this sale.
It's your own risk if you think I'm risky.
Many would not think so however I believe.
