My grandma still uses a cassette player. Sadly it broke few weeks ago.

I try to convince her to use CD/USB portable player, but sadly earphone & wire just aren't her thing.
But that's not the main thing.

Thing is, my grandma had lots and lots of cassette collection, more than 50 I supposed. rclxub.gif
Those songs are so classic and some couldn't be found in the Internet.

The only solution right now is to fix her cassette player/buy a new one for her.
But cassette player is hard to find nowadays, anyone know where can I get a hand of it?

This is something she had, not exactly it, but closest image I could find:

She requires a portable cassette player that comes with speaker, not those bulky type.

I suggest you get a cassette to MP3 converter later on. It cost me about RM100. If you want my second hand one, I can sell it also. I only used it a handful of times to convert some exercise tapes to MP3. Not seeing much use now.

Reason is the tapes will soon wear out, so best copy them to digital format when they can run. Why use earphone and wire? Just use bluetooth speaker ma.

Mind you converting is a pretty intensive work and you'll need to use Audacity to edit the MP3 especially the tail end, when the music stops but recording continues.
