Would you consider using a brand new C segment car, to do GRAB on a part time basic?

QUOTE(clive841202 @ Jun 16 2017, 02:36 PM) I am using my New Honda HR-V to do Uber. Only do it on weekend from early morning to afternoon around 1pm. Personal opinion, the car will have problem if we only keep it without drive. So, i might as well drive and earn some petrol & maintenance fee. Sometime i met good passenger and have a good conversation with them. By the way, i choose to cancel any trip requested by Bangla. As their smell is really not so good. How do you know if they are Bangla's or not? Plus wouldn't your rating drop by cancelling trips?

Thats part of the experience and u cant control it..if really kenot tahan then drive ur new car longer than only start uber or grab so u wont sakit. I'm a car lover myself so have to do regular cleaning as well to maintain my car... sometimes is not about earning the money as u know driving part time wont get u much but its the experience when u meet people and have great conversations...that why i drive actually.. I also considering part time driver while I looking 4 other job in town This post has been edited by skylinelover: Jul 1 2017, 05:07 AM

In my 5 months experience driving full time, I have to say that our local Indians have higher BO rating than Banglas. I've picked up a lot of Bangla and they really don't smell too bad. But i had several experience with local Indians where I felt like puking in the car and immediately after dropping them off, I wound down all my windows and drove fast.

My company has rented over 100 cars out and C segment cars are the least recommended vehicle to invest in unless it's a 2nd hand car with good value.
I strongly do not recommend you to use a new C segment car for Grab or Uber but if this is the only vehicle you have and you want to just drive part time for fun and extra cash, then go for it.

If it is part time is still ok as your car will be idle and then you still need to follow their schedule maintenance. Besides, parts except brake pads and tyres doesn't just wear out from mileage but from time as well as in low mileage daily driver etc...

QUOTE(iams0bloodysick @ Jun 15 2017, 05:22 PM) Got such thing? I saw those from brothers, cloth material. Got fake leather to wrap up? Original leather also fine as it is easy to clean. As long it's not fabric.
