I encountered this shutdown bug a few times. It is on an OG PS4 but upgraded the hard drive few months ago. Also happens on my husband's console which is newer. So I'm not going to play this game again with the chance that it can brick a system/hard drive - since many users have reported it to the point that Sony MY/Asia (based on the agent's reaction) know that it's a big deal. Only played up to level 5 so not that many hours. Uninstalled the game now as it's not worth a chance of bricking 2 consoles to me. I'll maybe come back when the game has been retooled like Division 1 but tbh don't even feel like it at this point. Not trying to be a hater cause I love Bioware games, wanted to love Anthem but I'm done ... hence the refund request.

If you can look beyond the bugs this game is just too much fun.

Heard the March 12th patch will have 300+ changes to the game including bug fixes and quality of life improvements.

Just need to hang in till then.

Try to reach full masterwork for your main javelin first which is 486 power then only change. That is when you will start to truly feel powerful and you can probably enjoy your new found power for awhile before switching.

I started with Storm first as well. Storm is at 494 with some legendary pieces and then I played Colossus and it’s at 488.

I have since switched to Ranger lol.

Love the way every javelin requires a totally different and unique play style.
