so did I, CE first then AFT. But now fire prevention (FP) is a thing with all these fire spamming BBs around
if I choose FP, I would have to forget AR and others such as Vig, BoS, JoaT though not very important
but this aft built is just for QE, other RNBB not really worth it to spec aft as their mid range aa are the more powerful ones and their long range aa are quite meh

FP also a good skill to take over AFT, so many HE spam from everywhere always get burned alive haha

what im thinking now is free xp to roon, im tempted to do..the constant T10 just tiring to play also hipper just dont work well getting uptiered

save your freexp till you get missouri and/propably nelson
then you can freexp your way to T10 if you want

I have been wanting FP on my BBs for a while now but not play enough to particularly get that skill
aggresive bismarck needs both aft and fp, RNBB only need CE and FP

Got my Minotaur last night. Man, this ship with radar equipped is a nightmare to any DD Max concealment you can get is 8.6km, but the radar range is 9.9km, so if you get that "detected" notification, just turn on the radar and voila . Not to mention the turrets turn fast too (less than 5 secs by default) and USN DD-like reload time (3.2 secs by default). I equipped the gun reload module and the captain has EM skill so I now have 2.7s gun reload and less than 6 secs for turret traverse.

using balls mode, kinda hard and need proprer positioning, which I sux.
as I understand it, Minotaur don't need EM as their turret traverse fast enough

one question exile, as "we" will be playing CW, should we have dedicated captain for the ships "we" will be using?
I know it's not necessary but dedicated will be optimize the ship's potential
but problem is, I don't have spare captain with 14 pts and I don't plan to respec my current DM cptn

So this Clan Wars is exclusive to tier 10 ships only?
If you guys need a dedicated scout DD members, I could try to farm my way to get Shimakaze soon.

When do the Clan War start though?

WG will "rent" us GK, Zao and Shima for us, so it's not a priority for you to get the shima
if you have any other line to grind though, I suggest you get to it
besides, from what Mejash said in his video, shima is the 2nd worse T10 DD right now and very much vulnerable to radar cruisers and more faster and deadly gunboats

CW will be available with 0.6.12 update, whenever that is
word has it the new Smoke changes will also go live on that update, so BBs won't can't shoot in smoke anymore, and CA will have 8km detection range and CL less than that when shoot in smoke. for confirmation, just wait for 0.6.12 update announcement

I only have 2 t10, gearing & des moines. As for my vote on ship research perks, I would obviously prefer ijn over usn but its not a big deal either way. Could just finish up the usn bb line. + more gearings in clan could be useful for clan battles, although z-52 will be king of caps if there is any in clan.

Considering that there would be only 1 bb, a dm played with teamwork could be pretty lethal. DM+Mino+Gearing would be seen alot in my opinion. Smoke, smoke, radar.

free russian bb with 3 level of mission from 4th to 25th october

here comes the madness!

after IJN, the next line to be researched should be the one with the most ships.
KM..with 3 categories dd/ca/bb

followed by USSR, UK, FRANCE & PAN-ASIA.

can do PAN-ASIA if the line is released.

KM has to next since they have 3 lines of ships
then the Brits
after that, VMF, french and asian

I chose RN first rather than VMF bcoz I think this line is more popular right now than VMF

alternatively though, pan asian first if many of us wants to grind that line
I'm grinding all line at the same time, so I don't mind much
though RN line next will be much more helpful
