Crypto giants Binance Holdings Ltd. and Tron have been banned on China’s largest micro-blogging service amid what appears to be fresh steps to crack down on digital currency trading.

The official accounts of exchange operator Binance and blockchain platform Tron were suspended by Twitter-like Weibo last week. At the same time watchdogs in Shanghai issued notices calling for a cleanup of companies involved in cryptocurrency trading, while one in Beijing warned against illegal exchange operations.

Those hodl since January 2020 still gain.

The biggest risks to crypto currency eco system is not price of BTC but usdt.

Believe <28 will trigger substantial margin call, hence, many would defence this line.

At 30k, many mining are no longer profitable, could expect many to suspend mining.

Believe the biggest threat to crypto ecosystem is stable coin. A sustain short of usdt could flip the price.

Stable coin depends on new inflow funds to sustain. when outflow funds is more than inflow funds, losing the peg is inevitable.

If ust could loss its peg, what about usdt? as bct, etc are popped up by usdt, etc; if unpegged for extended period of time, the consequences could be larger than stable coin itself.

if usdt peg to usd doesn't return in the next day or so, may never return.

So far no one could prove or verify such assets exist.

It is a matter of when not if.

It will be tested when many cash out to fiat currency.
