Coindesk being coindesk

$380 isn't overpriced, and once the ICO bubble pops, the corrections will last days at most. Cause people/robots will buy the next generation internet at a bargain rate.

They don't pop all at once, silly coindesk

Hey wootz, are you planning to invest in the status ICO? I think it's got a bright future but not sure if I can get in, any advice in regards to gas price? smile.gif

Okay. So most here still got oversea accounts to use on gemini.

There goes what i have learn here, total waste. Initially was quite excited due to mega sales. Even already standby ammo to buy since morning. Portfolio i think drop 15-20%, buying price premium 10-15%(which i dont buy yet). Total 25-30%? Good time to DCA down, but well....suck to be Malaysian tho.

I think the first page need bolder statement to warn Local Malaysian on cryto trade. 10-15% premium is standard.

It really depends on the period (mostly during prolonged sideways movement). My previous purchases from Luno were mostly RM100 above than global prices. When BTC falls, not many msians wanna sell, which is why it sticks to the 10-11k range, these guys know it will rebound back within days (if not hours)

Guys, the general rule is not to chase at high. How high is anybody's guess. It could shoot much higher or it could crash. Do be careful. wink.gif

For reference, last time XBC shot to 3000+% so the sky's the limit.
*
ANS cannot shoot that high la, market cap already #19. Maybe 500% possible hmm.gif

You mean max can go up to USD 35?

Just a wild guess, but nothing is impossible in crypto. It depends on what the announcement is.

Question: why do i have to keep ANS in the official wallet ?
*
If you want to store it in the wallet, there's going to be a transaction fee of 1 ANS, and it doesn't accept decimals during transfers, so 2.9 becomes 2. So be mindful of that smile.gif

Boy, this thread's volume is getting higher and higher!  smile.gif

Waaawww!!! Viacoin really hitting it. The only thing I can find is that they are going to signal segwit soon : https://twitter.com/viacoin?ref_src=twsrc%5...7Ctwgr%5Eauthor

Based on historical observation, pre-segwit coins will get pumped for a few days until near actual segwit, then dumped. Let's see whether that happens this time round or not.
*
The new viacoin developer romero is really hitting it hard biggrin.gif had it since 15k sats, finally starting to pay off. There are a ton of pretty cool features in their roadmap, definitely a coin to be considered in everyone's portfolio (once the price corrects)

Hi guys.. need an opinion.. I send out my eth from polo to bittrex wallet. The trasaction show completed on polo side and balance has been deducted but I havent receive the eth on bittrex wallet, its been almost 12 hours. Transaction id not showing in etherscan. What should I do?
*
It took almost 24 hours for my eth to reach Polo yesterday. It's pretty congested. Also Bittrex had their ETH coin wallets down for most of yesterday. Are you sure their wallet is still up? I'd suggest waiting for 24 hours, as long as it shows up on etherscan it should be good

Right now if slush doesn't signal, chances are 50 50, those signaling for bip91 need to get lucky with a few blocks.
*
Yeah, but there are like 3 more signalling periods, so even if we don't get it now we will eventually biggrin.gif or UASF...but one way or the other

a cheapskate question, am I entitled to get 0.03 of BCC if I transferred 0.03 BTC into Bittrex? biggrin.gif
thanks brah, so the whole exchange = Mt.Gox 2.0?
*
Yes, Bittrex will credit BCC to you with an equivalent amount of BTC you have. In the event they do not support trading the pair, they will still let you withdraw your BCC.

Huge price manipulation going on with BCC. Probably some whales prepping to short right before the BCC wallet goes live, since most of the BCC are held outside the exchange.

That's the problem with our exchanges, they sell at a premium!
*
You buy at a premium, but when you cash out you also sell at a premium. It balances out. Not really the exchange's fault - it's simply a tool for third parties to bid. Until we get more versatile and bigger exchanges for our country (which is unlikely anytime soon), this is going to be the case.

OKCoin and Huobi are going to meet with regulators tomorrow. If you have not sold, now is probably the time to do so and buy back at what probably will be a much lower price.
