Unfortunately ledger nano and trezor is expensive and rare in Asian markets
Hardware wallets are safe because every transaction requires you to personally sign it by entering PIN code and confirming it using the physical buttons
They are also more simple to use since they have passphrase and native apps for wallets and alt coin tokens, so it's easier to manage your coins and use them
Ledger can be widely found since we have authorized distributors in Malaysia (3 distributors, in fact) or you can just import it yourself using their official website.
If you're dealing with large amounts (say more than 5k) or want to get serious in crypto , then hardware wallet is a no-brainer since it's not very expensive for its benefits and usage
USBs can corrode or get infected by virus/malware. A hardware wallet won't because it's cryptographically secured
