No one asked you to pay $30 fees. You pretty much used a shitty wallet and maybe no fee option.
Theres a toilet charge you $1 but your ego says you gotta pay to get the golden toilet for emotional convenience.
*
Lmao, the ICO only accepts BTC payment. What other alternatives I have? Before u go on and say I shouldn't invest in that ICO, for the record, that $30 fee got me 150% of profit from the ICO.

Not complaining, just telling you there was a time $30 fee did happen.

Like I said, you clearly weren't here last year. All you did is arguing for the sake of arguing.

The most you can do now is trading to earn more BTC to hold.
Dont think the value will recover anytime soon.
Accumulate more BTC or your favourite alt coin and hold.

Yes but a lot of people are panic selling. For those trading on house money, just chill back and relax. This is just another day in crypto world. blush.gif

That some ballsy move though..not afraid to get liquidation ?
I heard many scary stories in bitmex where most people tends to get liquidated

How? because of the leverage?

QUOTE(blurcase @ Dec 11 2018, 11:31 AM)
There is a simple reason why ppl get liquidated. They take too much risk and bet too big trying to predict the market and thinking that they will make a shit ton of money (in this case BTC) by using leverage. Let me give u an example, sharing info live from bitMEX's calculator.

Assume current BTC price is $1000, and I buy (go long) at that price:

1) 1x leverage liquidation price is $501.50
2) 10x leverage liquidation price is 913.50
3) 25x leverage liquidation price is 966.50
4) 100x leverage liquidation price is 995.50

At 100x leverage, it takes $10 increase from my buy price for me to double my investment, but it only takes 4.50 drop to liquidate my entire purchase. Even at 25x leverage, the price needs to increase $41.50 to double my investment, but take 33.50 drop to liquidate my position.

Dont get me wrong, I also have losing trades before in bitMEX. But I monitor the prices like a hawk when I am in a trade, and I put very tight stoplosses, the higher leverage I go, the tighter my stoploss. I also wait patiently for the right opportunities to trade, and dont force myself to trade when the charts are not right. Ppl who work as traders in companies have targets they need to achieve, are forced to find every trading opportunity possible. For us as personal traders, we have the luxury of time, and should only trade when all the charts look in our favour.
*
Don't they have any 1:1 leverage trade?

I’m no trader, can’t see myself playing in this bitmex game. But I wish you good luck for all the trades buddy. I’m more of HODL till u die guy πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Yeap, most people thought they can trade easily but ended up losing money when they use high leveraged. Then they lost all their BTC.

Trading future is risky but I think crypto future trading might just be the next thing to revive the hype.

Yes, you are right. Since then, I have sold most of my alts and keeping only the major coins. Hopefully, this rally isn't just another fake dawn.

Just to clarify, I said "if I want to convert to fiat". I don't intend to convert all yet.

I got 600% profit from BNB alone this year, when I converted some, the cost was around 2.5% only, no sweat. rolleyes.gif

BTW it's the same with any other investment if you want to convert. Whether it's from property to fiat, gold to fiat, shares to fiat, it's never going to be 100% perfect conversion rate. What matters is if your profit is larger than the conversion cost.  icon_rolleyes.gif

Yes, BNB has been a monster for the past 5 months or so!

I picked up a bit when it was 6ish. ATM, it seems like it's dropping.

Made a nice profit from ETH/Nano past few days. I'm planning to cash out half my ETH and Nano. Already started converting some of them to TrueUSD.

Yes, perhaps prices will rise even more but I don't want to make the same mistake in 2017 and get greedy and regret if prices suddenly crash.  laugh.gif

Seeing more people now in this forum because prices are increasing. My advice to you is to set a target price to cash out. icon_rolleyes.gif

Surely you will keep some investment instead of cashing all out?

Sold already but not at peak.. looks like matic is entering unknown zone with investors wave left and right... Probably will dip.

Please recommend me what's alt to invest next ? We are now in alt season and the trading are quite active except litecoin and nano still in day dreaming or perhaps rehab ?
*
Nano pump a little bit in the last 24h. For LTC, can buy now and keep.

Yes, August 6. I have been collecting LTC since February. I still think that $150-180 is reachable by end of the year. I might be wrong though but my entry price is pretty low.

Invest at your own risk biggrin.gif For MATIC, better FIFO. Seems like just hype.

MATIC suits FIFO trading. HODL only if you have money to burn.
