Just some random guy said in NuMoney telegram chatroom. I am not sure if it is true. It could be from a competitor spreading false rumours.

Remitano did not have bank account in Malaysia. No data will be keep in Malaysia too. All transactions made are between buyers and sellers.

By the way, bitcoin cash (BCH/BCC) price is shooting up. Can buy it at remitano.

BTC is quite slow and I think Remitano doesn't use a high sat/byte transaction fee. So your transaction is not that prioritized compared to others.

You can buy ETH instead in the future. Remitano uses high gwei (20-40) which means almost instant confirmations.
*
Agree. I transfer a lot from remitano to other platform and other platform to remitano. BTC can take 20 mins to 2 hours to transfer. If ETH or BCH usually takes 5 mins to 20 mins only.

What's the best way to buy altcoins? Recently got interested in altcoins, I'm considering buying btc/eth on remitano and opening a binance account to buy altcoins with btc/eth, is this the best conventional way?
*
This is the correct way. But I advise you to buy ETH because ETH transfer to other platform usually much faster than BTC and BCH.

do you guys trust Localbitcoins.com?

Is it possible to buy from localbitcoins malaysia, and sell on localbitcoins SG??
*
Localbitcoin cannot I believe.

But Remitano can. You can buy it in Malaysia with RM and you can choose which country you want to sell it by using the same account. More than 50 countries to select including Singapore.

LocalBitcoins is safe.

Been buying there since late 2016. Better than remitano IMO, no ridiculous withdraw fees.
*
There is no withdraw fees in remitano. Only if u transfer out to other wallet then yes. Cost less than RM25 as I know if convert.

if you don't own the private keys, you don't own the bitcoin. Hence, anything left on remitano wallet is a risk IMO.
*
It is same to localbitcoin and other platform.

Isn't the withdrawal fees on remitano 0.005ETH (roughly RM12) right now?

For BTC I think its 0.0005 BTC (roughly RM15) for remitano while LBC is 10% of that at 0.00005 BTC.
*
LBC charge deposit fees and it is higher than their withdrawal fees. The rate in LBC is bad compare with Remitano. Quit LBC after compare with Remi rate.

Try to look back your wallet transaction history for incoming fund and you will see another debit of 0.0005 for the fee.

Alternatively, click deposit and you will see this "Deposit fee 0.0005 BTC".

And you see you get the exact amount of fund credited but you never notice there is another debit of 0.0005.

You were wrong from all the time being to conclude remitano is the cheapest.
*
lol Ok. Din't realise that. But the remitano buy sell rate is still the best I saw in Malaysia market. Anyway, everyone can choose which platform the best for them.

curious how it turned out in the end?

so you see money in your bank, but were concerned that if you release BTC, then that person can reverse the bank transactions? Can anyone actually do that?
*
Once transfer cannot reverse back. His concern is the money that transfer in have different bank account holder name.
