BTC is quite slow and I think Remitano doesn't use a high sat/byte transaction fee. So your transaction is not that prioritized compared to others.

You can buy ETH instead in the future. Remitano uses high gwei (20-40) which means almost instant confirmations.

What's the best way to buy altcoins? Recently got interested in altcoins, I'm considering buying btc/eth on remitano and opening a binance account to buy altcoins with btc/eth, is this the best conventional way?

LocalBitcoins is safe.

Been buying there since late 2016. Better than remitano IMO, no ridiculous withdraw fees.

if you don't own the private keys, you don't own the bitcoin. Hence, anything left on remitano wallet is a risk IMO.

Hence, I said no ridiculous fees on LBC.

Isn't the withdrawal fees on remitano 0.005ETH (roughly RM12) right now?

For BTC I think its 0.0005 BTC (roughly RM15) for remitano while LBC is 10% of that at 0.00005 BTC.

I think you did not realise too that remitano charges deposit fee as well.

Try to look back your wallet transaction history for incoming fund and you will see another debit of 0.0005 for the fee.

Alternatively, click deposit and you will see this "Deposit fee 0.0005 BTC".

And you see you get the exact amount of fund credited but you never notice there is another debit of 0.0005.

You were wrong from all the time being to conclude remitano is the cheapest.

so you see money in your bank, but were concerned that if you release BTC, then that person can reverse the bank transactions? Can anyone actually do that?
