i dont understand how a current owner of trx or ripple or xvg will "very well off in the future.".

why cant all the  stocks, derivatives, and all the existing traditional investment vehicles do their own hard fork or launch their own ICO ?

just because crypto usage  expands long term, doesnt imply that your  trx or ripple or xvg will be worth more 5 years later.

Banks can create their own digital asset, but that approach is deeply misguided.

A bank-issued digital asset can only really efficiently settle between the banks who issued it. Banks need an independent digital asset to enable truly efficient settlement and XRP is best positioned for that role.

It goes back to the fundamentals of what makes digital assets unique and special - they’re universal currencies, meaning anyone can use them as units of value anywhere in the world.

Why don't OCBC just create their own coin, and ask Citibank and Stand Chart to use it, so next time when OCBC monopoly the whole crypto market, Citibank and SC have to follow OCBC lead.

I guess you just need to do more research and think harder.

if a cartel of banks (OCBC and Citibank and Stand Chart) create their own coin, they already have an instant user base of millions. that new coin will be worth billions of dollars from the start. so stop embarrassing yourself "fatalexe"

why would they back each other and create a coin, who will have absolute control on the coin? thats why Western Union, Moneygram, switf exist, why cant bank TT to each other and we have all these p2p transfer with high fees? because bank wont comit to each other and let other take control of them, i would just explained till here cause seems like you are an ignorant troll keep twist other word where already been explained.
