He’s already clarified in Twitter. It’s not him.

The Reddit post has been updated with more evidence that it points to him, even after his denial. The money was transferred to someone with the same first name as him. Maybe it's not him as he claims but what a strange coincidence. Also it's strange that this supposed "private investor" managed to get hold of 10% to sell in the first place.

Bitgrail? Cannot withdraw?

I've had no problems with BitGrail since the RaiBlocks dev team helped them fix a bug a few days ago. Before that it was pretty bad during high transactions period. But now processing and completion is quite fast for me. LTC and BTC transactions to them also no problems.

However I hear Kucoin seems to have problems with their recent adoption of XRB. Deposits seem to take a long time. Hope the XRB dev team helps them fix the issues.

Don't use Mercatox. They seem to have the most amount of issues with XRB.

PSA: Critical Electrum Wallet Vulnerability

Upgrade Electrum for Bitcoin especially if you did not set a wallet password.

Also affects Electrum-LTC for Litecoin.

You got it bro!  rclxms.gif

It seems like raiblocks is a bit wonky, like iota, i'm a bit skeptical now, if it takes that long to create a block between personal wallet, it's not gonna do 7000tps. I may consider closing my position partially.
*
Desktop wallet? Yeah it takes forever to sync. Use the official online raiwallet instead. You'll still be in charge of your private keys.

using raiwallet.com, still no block created on my end after receiving xrb just now, have you had this issue before?
*
Strange, never had an issue with raiwallet.
1. Where did you receive it from?
2. Does your XRB balance in the top-right show the amount?
3. In the Transactions menu is there any listing? A transaction marked as "open" is the first completed transaction in raiwallet.

Ah I see. As long as it's in your wallet should be fine.

@UserU just curious where did you send the 1 XRB to DogeLambo from?

I don't have any ETH. Can someone explain to me why the price keeps on increasing even with the network congestion and high transaction fees?

ETH where got network congestion? ETH where got high transaction fees?
I only paid USD1.5 transfer fees irrespective what amount I transfer. The transfer only takes a few minutes from offline wallet to exchange ready to trade.

If ETH has its network congested + fees...then what is BTC?
*
Oh yeah compared to BTC, ETH is cheaper and slightly faster.

Sorry. I am too used to LTC and XRB low fees lol.

They released another update 3.0.5 for Electrum and Electrum-LTC to fix the JSONRPC vulnerability.

https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articl...-RaiBlocks-XRB-

The fifth session of “Community Coin per Month” has completed. Once again, it was a success and an exhilarating experience for us all. We have weighed all factors in the voting process and also filtered for oddities.
We would like to congratulate the winner - RaiBlocks (XRB)!
As promised, XRB will be awarded with a free listing placement on Binance. The exact listing time will be announced separately.
Thank you for your patience and support!

Same. Currently I'm trying to get more LTC to convert to XRB because speed/fee for LTC is currently better than BTC.

Anyone mind telling me how is raiblocks different from other alts such as xlm, monero, bcc in terms of scalability? Cuz from what I see, the main challenge with crypto is adoption right now. How would society be convinced to use crypto if it risk getting replaced anytime?
*
RaiBlocks has zero transaction fees and very fast transfers (a few minutes).

RaiBlocks can scale too. BitGrail was handling 80% of XRB traffic with 1 node until it became crashed. BitGrail now uses multiple nodes but it proves that even 1 node can handle many transactions.

RaiBlocks adoption is also increasing. Last time there was a few exchanges (BitGrail and Mercatox). Now KuCoin supports XRB, and RaiExchange was just launched. Also Binance will be adding RaiBlocks soon too.

Ok, thanks. Just found that out myself..but shouldn't it be seconds instead of minutes?

I see that iota is in the same space as raiblocks but with more potential.
*
Yup usually when I transfer it's just seconds. Individual wallet transfers should be nearly instant. smile.gif
I said minutes because usually during trading on BitGrail it takes minutes because they put your transfer in a queue.

IOTA is a bigger platform, but it's not as focused on currency and speed as XRB.
Good discussion on Reddit here..

Another good article here comparing the 2. <-- Note that link might be blocked by Malaysian ISPs if you did not change your DNS because I think it's hosted on Medium.

Excuse me sifus, with the growing crackdown by China's authority of shutting down anything related to cryptocoin exchange recently, will it be that our goverment bends and follows China's decision?
*
Nah. Malaysia is only interested in controlling the exchanges for Malaysia's sake. IRB is very interested in finding out who the big buyers of crypto are, because they potentially can launder or move money offshore this way.

I had to bring in a Remi staff as a witness. Throughout the conversation, the buyer failed to show any receipts.

It was locked for over 12 hours and that was after I kept pestering the staff to cancel the trade. Based on the support's professionalism on handling, it was a nightmare.

Nah, popcorn time.

Oh you mean the support staff weren't professional?
It's good that you confirm the balance in your account first.
I also like to give people I buy crypto from peace of mind by sending the deposit via IBFT (instant transfer). Because it's almost impossible to reverse a crypto transaction, but RM transfers there is a paper trail and you can report to BNM.
