COMSA ICO is live now.

Already $47 million in 2 hours (more than half came from pre-sale that had minimum $100k investment). Selling like hot cakes, total registered so far more than 195k investors. The website also got DDOS'ed due to jealousy or simply mischief (now is 502 bad gateway). You probably can't read the whitepaper now due to website down, but I've done my research. You can wait for the website goes up again before considering.

About COMSA and the ICO:

• COMSA is operated by Japanese company Tech Bureau ($21 million company based on Crunchbase) specialised in cryptography, blockchain, fintech and security.

• COMSA is powered by the NEM blockchain (7th in market cap). For those who don't know, NEM is superior to Ethereum in many ways, especially in the ease of adoption for real-world businesses. NEM is not as hyped in the crypto community like NEO because NEM works quietly behind the scenes attending business conferences and building relationships with companies from various industries.

For example - If Comsa sells 1000 CMS tokens during the pre-sale and 500 during the regular ICO then the total sold amount of sold CMS tokens would be 1500. This value will be multiplied by two which would give us a total supply of 3000 CMS tokens.
There won't be any new tokens created after that but there is a plan to burn tokens from time to time. Further details will be announced in due time.
The above calculation was only an EXAMPLE! The numbers are pulled out of thin air and kept low to have a very easy to understand example! These numbers have nothing to do with real sold numbers!

• Purchased CMS tokens will be distributed after the regular ICO / token sale has ended.

First of all, their niche focus is smart contract security audits. We've heard how a hacker managed to steal $55 millions in the form of Ethereum coins from the DAO because of a bug in the smart contract. As for me personally, having involved in a process of looking for a smart contract audit, I know how expensive and tedious process it can be. (We've been quoted as high as $50k for a week long of audit).

I'm just a long term hodler, just keeping track of the current market sentiments and recent happenings.

Personally, I am very critical of ICOs, and rarely invest in them.
QASH will only be my 3rd ICO, in fact.
You're right, though......besides the website and whitepaper which are the most obvious stuff, you also need to dig deeper, such as join their social channels, read various reviews (both for and against the project), watch all their videos, etc. in order to get a good grasp of the project.
Also, one of my main criterion is that the project must either bring something new to the table, or otherwise must solve an aching need effectively, or highlight their solution to a need that nobody knows we even had.

But, I invest for the long term, so I am prepared to hodl a token for more than a year, so my philosophy and priorities may not be the same as those who are active traders.
