QUOTE(Gss2k @ Nov 24 2017, 10:55 AM) I did not buy during the 40% because all my money in many different ico. Now i have fresh new profits looking for home. I made more then 5x USD value on my last ico when it hit binance, but i think that is mostly because btc moon. Indahash is my next target even if it is not cheapest price anymore. those with high discount for pre-sale is very dangerous. might cause one round of waterfall

QUOTE(wengherng @ Nov 24 2017, 11:35 AM) POWR is one of those tokens that I am kicking myself on. 2 weeks ago I was researching into it, and it was hovering around USD 0.14 at the time, if I remember correctly. I had already decided to invest a little sum into it, but due to some circumstances, I wasn't able to, and decided to do it the next day. By the next day, it had listed on Bittrex and shot up past USD 0.24 and from then on, it never looked back. I got in the ICO, due to the FUD I sold at around 7cents. (at loss) I deserved to be kicked in the nuts.

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Nov 25 2017, 11:22 AM) No I did not check the date.Reading the news again,I realised it's DBS that has closed their account, and no reason given. They are still in operation. Glad to hear you carried transections with them recently satisfactorily. I hope there's no hitch in future. I intend to use them. Do you forsee any issues if I were to holiday in Singapore and withdraw money at any Singapore bank? their bank account has been banned for quite some time d, the only access is via xfers

QUOTE(alpha33 @ Nov 25 2017, 04:33 PM) Wtf?? Aint this called cheating already? I bought twice on luno Price differs by 2‰ after purchase. (so i assumed fees is 2%) Or after exchange was restored, it will auto buy there instead thus at higher rate? I think they ran out of ETH to sell, or change to exchange type, so when u hit buy basically chew up whatever which is above irregardless of price at that BTC/ETH exchange

QUOTE(yamasakai @ Nov 25 2017, 04:50 PM) I think luno first take it from their own exchange, then if run out take from other exchanges. I'm guessing the RM2,500 earlier was because Luno's ETH board was trading at 670 sats instead of 570 sats (SS in earlier post). Wanted to transfer my BTC to other exchange to buy current price ETH and then send back to LUNo for the premium... but then it stabilised di. Luno's BTC dynamic fee is 0.00048768, which is at RM34,998 is about RM17? Not bad, previusly it cost me RM60-80 to send out from Luno. when was the ETH/BTC exchange opened ? either they ran out of ETH, or the exchange just opened. either way a lot of normal folks are participating ICO using ETH, so of course the premium is normal This post has been edited by AllnGap: Nov 25 2017, 05:02 PM

QUOTE(wengherng @ Nov 27 2017, 01:18 PM) I've never used a Trezor before......interested to know what is the benefit of a Trezor over a Ledger Nano S? I thought the Ledger natively supports more tokens. And, we can get it for just over RM300 now. Good on ya. I honestly think that many of those 4 million BTC are from those mined back in the early days, where nobody really thought they would be really worth that much today, so many people either lost their private keys or just forgot about them. Miners then would easily have thousands of BTC mined, and probably crashed their hard drive without backing up their private keys, etc. ya, that's what the researchers said, never touched. those lost in HDD or simply forgotten wallets in thumb drives. 4 out for 16mil is a huge figure to be "lost"

QUOTE(wengherng @ Nov 27 2017, 01:34 PM) Definitely a huge figure, in monetary terms. But when you think about it, a miner back in 2010 would easily have maybe 10k bitcoins stashed in his hard drive, back when they were mining hundreds of BTC per day or something like that. Just 400 persons with 10k BTC each is already 4 million BTC. Probably worth not more than USD 50 in total back in the day...... hahaha...... yep. it was probably worth nothing back then...LOL that fella who threw away a HDD that has 7,500btc sure cry like hell.......LOL.......he threw away 75mil USD

QUOTE(jack2 @ Nov 28 2017, 09:40 AM) ETH is available from the exchange (peer to peer, not through instant buying)? that rate at first page is a reference price, maybe average price. to buy at exchange rate, they will first need to buy BTC, BTC then go to that BTC/ETH side to get ETH if instant buy at first page, they basically eat whatever which is above in BTC/ETH. so if BTC already premium, the premium is also at ETH side. so that ETH price in purple chart is wrong !
