Well just saw he is  doing a third offering and this time its not a convertible note anymore.

Also i wonders what are the terms of the 1st and 2nd conversion. No such things as free money in the market i guess.
*
Well it is free money for him.

If it works out they will call him a genius and if it doesn't then he can go back to his core business.

Third offering is even more senior compared to the two converts so there is that.

A lot of eyes are on this right now so games will be played both ways for sure ....

Terms for first two notes
QUOTE
The notes are unsecured, senior obligations of MicroStrategy, and bear interest at a rate of 0.750% per annum, payable semi-annually in arrears on June 15 and December 15 of each year, beginning on June 15, 2021. The notes will mature on December 15, 2025, unless earlier repurchased, redeemed or converted in accordance with their terms. Subject to certain conditions, on or after December 20, 2023, MicroStrategy may redeem for cash all or a portion of the notes at a redemption price equal to 100% of the principal amount of the notes to be redeemed, plus accrued and unpaid interest, if any, to, but excluding, the redemption date, if the last reported sale price of MicroStrategy’s class A common stock has been at least 130% of the conversion price then in effect for a specified period of time ending on the trading day immediately before the date the notice of redemption is sent.

Holders of notes may require MicroStrategy to repurchase their notes upon the occurrence of certain events that constitute a fundamental change under the indenture governing the notes at a repurchase price equal to 100% of the principal amount of the notes to be repurchased, plus any accrued and unpaid interest to, but excluding, the date of repurchase. In connection with certain corporate events or if MicroStrategy calls any note for redemption, it will, under certain circumstances, be required to increase the conversion rate for holders who elect to convert their notes in connection with such corporate event or notice of redemption.

The conversion rate for the notes is initially 2.5126 shares of MicroStrategy class A common stock per $1,000 principal amount of notes, which is equivalent to an initial conversion price of approximately $397.99 per share. This represents a premium of approximately 37.5% over the last reported sale price of $289.45 per share of MicroStrategy class A common stock on The Nasdaq Global Select Market on December 8, 2020. The conversion rate is subject to adjustment upon the occurrence of certain events.
QUOTE
The notes are unsecured, senior obligations of MicroStrategy. The notes do not bear regular interest, and the principal amount of the notes does not accrete. The notes will mature on February 15, 2027, unless earlier repurchased, redeemed or converted in accordance with their terms.

The notes are convertible into cash, shares of MicroStrategy’s class A common stock, or a combination of cash and shares of MicroStrategy’s class A common stock, at MicroStrategy’s election. Prior to August 15, 2026, the notes are convertible only upon the occurrence of certain events and during certain periods, and thereafter, at any time until the second scheduled trading day immediately preceding the maturity date.

The conversion rate for the notes is initially 0.6981 shares of MicroStrategy’s class A common stock per $1,000 principal amount of notes, which is equivalent to an initial conversion price of approximately $1,432.46 per share. This represents a premium of approximately 50% over the last reported sale price of $955.00 per share of MicroStrategy’s class A common stock on The Nasdaq Global Select Market on February 16, 2021. The conversion rate is subject to adjustment upon the occurrence of certain events.

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Jun 10 2021, 04:00 PM)
can someone explain the best way to buy cardano ada via binance?

like for example, you can p2p to buy eth or btc outright using MYR. But you can't for ADA.

instead you have to purchase one of the available crypto, then swap that for ADA using binance.

So question is, between buying ETH, BTC or USDT to then trade for ADA, which is the best method?

to my understanding btc and eth fluctuate too much, so may make a loss if converting from it to ADA. but USDT is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar in value. any tips?

or instead of P2P, is it better to just buy direct from the marketplace instead in binance?  hmm.gif
*
No concrete answer for this, as p2p rates are inflated pretty much so they are more or less the same.

Usually the difference is like single to two-digits so if you want to experiment, could try both with small amts.

nub question.

if selling USDT for BTC using USDT/BTC pair, is this the same as ETH/BTC, ADA/BTC. In the end you get BTC right? or are they all different if you convert from a different crypto?  hmm.gif

confused about crypto pairs.

All am interested in is just getting BTC, and not being stuck with some other odd crypto not familiar with  sweat.gif

if selling USDT for BTC, you need to have USDT to long (buy) BTC/USDT pair.

as for my understanding , ALL the same, u will get BTC......BUT, got pair of USDT/BTC ??? confused.gif

normally , we buy stable coin first (USDT,BUSD,.....) through p2p.......after that baru wait for the time that u feel the price is reasonable, baru place order.....bcoz stable coin doesn't fluctuate like BTC/ETH/ADA/...............so, u can wait the CORRECT time to come...... cool2.gif

BUT , i'm oso newbie in this Binance less than a month.... whistling.gif .....hope my explanation is correct hmm.gif

i think you can buy direct using bigpay mastercard , with the currency using EURO. i saw in this forum some success in buying using this method, but i not sure is the rate reasonable compared to p2p rate. current p2p rate is 4.18 which i think is quite good? hope other forumers can correct me.

Yes, current p2p rate is very very good already.. 4.18 is just 6 sens higher than MYR/USD..
Other methods like BP is getting lesser for your value..
