It's encouraging the gradual closure of mining business in China by suffocating them with higher energy cost, higher taxes, higher regulation etc. China government is not happy with the speculative nature of crypto and it's mining power consumption and is committed to reducing their crypto mining industry.

I really don't see BTC dominating that much anymore. More and more people now are aware of BTC's weaknesses. If lightning doesn't work as intended or gets adopted, BTC might be history.

On a side note , big thanks to this thread for guiding me how to buy alts and the importance of diversification a few months ago. Without you guys I'll still be stuck at /r/Bitcoin being super biased against alt coins

2018 is the year of crypto, most projects finally will take shape, truly great coins like OMG, ETH, VEN, WTC, NEO, XLM, XRP etc etc with actual real world use case will survive. It doesn't make sense to exit now when years of development can finally show it's product.

You could do that, but just remember USDT is at the end an alt coin, they are printed by Bitfinex and they are not pure USD. As we all know long term usage is quite dangerous since all these exchange is hardly trustable

Glad I changed 30% of my XLM into VEN. It has some nice profits now and I still think VEN is massively undervalued for its potential. I mean... If DNV GV, PwC and Jim Breyer is part of their advisory team and partner... You know this project is no joke. Their client/customer list is even more insane. Also, I'm ready for the USA pump later

Waiting for XLM FairX exchange because it's value is just plummeting thanks to low volume and dependacy on BTC's movements.

Waiting for XRB to be added in Binance and hopefully it reaches it's historical ATH so I can add more VEN to my portfolio.
