QUOTE(Amaru @ Aug 13 2021, 01:13 PM) Bullish sentiment because in theory it would allow it to compete with Ethereum better and maybe some DeFi projects will switch over. Which makes sense in the long term also as I see it - while ETH is the major alt coin backbone, others such as ADA (with its computational layer) and DOT (with its parachain) are developing ecosystems that facilitate interoperability between different blockchains, allowing different platforms to interact with one another. In the end, while they all have somewhat differing end goals, with this interoperability it becomes more of a mix match situation where the industry is able to pick and choose the best offerings from each blockchain and make use of them. However I don't foresee many protects actually switching over. Cardano still doesn't have a working stablecoin yet. Having said that, we are still in early days, VERY early days as yet, so this is still a long way. This post has been edited by pleasuresaurus: Aug 13 2021, 03:36 PM |

QUOTE(Amaru @ Aug 13 2021, 11:16 PM) There's a bet going at Polymarket (hit USD600k already it seems) on whether they would be able to get the smart contracts up by Oct 1, looks like its still as anticipated. If ADA is made available on Luno that'd be great indeed |

QUOTE(skywardsword @ Aug 20 2021, 05:41 PM) Neat. Ledger nano wallet cannot store ADA. And also not traded on Luno... For ADA use Yoroi easiest. Decent functionality n can stake on-platform. I find Daedalus is too heavy n Adalite is.....too light 😅Thinking of opening Huobi account Now that I think of it, both Yoroi and Adalite can integrate Ledger Nano S and X. QUOTE(teikboon @ Aug 20 2021, 05:43 PM) wanna ask a noob question here: if i buy a hardware wallet... any fee incurred by trading platform if I transfer to it? 1. Any movement of coins will incur some kind of cost, unless u r moving it within platform itself e.g. Binance p2p to Binance spotand a wallet can store any and multiple coins too right? 2. Type n number of protocols supported, that one u need to do ur own homework n check wat the specific wallet offers on their website. |

QUOTE(Mr.Weezy @ Aug 21 2021, 08:42 PM) Guys, i've missed the boat on SOL, AXS and ADA Opportunity will come by again, no worries. For now just standby, convert stable coins n park in interest yielding account.Any other coin to get em now while it's underrated? I'm holding BTC and DOT only at the moment.
