Google results 1 Bitcoin equals 46987.25 Malaysian Ringgit

Remitano 47,594.98 MYR / 49,361.19 MYR (3.7% spread)

Remitano priced 1.3% - 5.1% higher than market.

which means, if you buy and sell same day, you can lose 3.7 + 5.1 = 8.8% instantly.

from trading stand point, you already lose before you get started.
*
So have you figured it out what is the cheapest way to buy BTC after taking into account of bank exchange rate / wire transfer fee / credit card fee / convenience etc?

ofcause use google price as a benchmark, what else you use?

the above calculation with remitano without incurring exchange rate loss.

Even worse if you convert from MYR > USD > MYR with luno. Probably can run up to >10% as transaction cost.

Would you trade knowing your round trip cost already eat you up 10%?
*
What is preventing a trader to profit by buying low and selling high in Luno exclusively?
Don't really get your point..

huge transaction cost, esp starting with MYR capital.
*
If I buy and sell in Luno, both as makers, there's no transaction cost.

Luno now 48,569 / 48,568 yes tight spread but you already buying 3.5% higher than google price without knowing (1 Bitcoin equals 46945.27 Malaysian Ringgit)

plus do you know your cost/fee of withdrawal?
*
Again, if everything is done in Luno, I can ignore the fee of withdrawal.
Even depositing to Luno will incur a charge of 0.0002btc.

Credit card purchase can easily cost you 3% or more if you want access to foreign market. Also, you have not take into account the bank exchange rate.

But if you tell me you have a usd account in US, then yes, definitely you can buy it lower and sell higher here. And that is called arbitrage, not trading.

Ok I dont think I want to read about cryptokitty.
But can someone buy & sell cryptokitty using BTC, USD or other currency?
*
The kitties are only transferable through the ETH blockchain.
In order to accept the kitty, you will need to sign up and create an account through metamask.
Of course, if someone agree to transact off chain, ie you send him/her some btc/usd, he/she can transfer the kitty to you.

From a logical standpoint, at the beginning of year, ETH was $8 and now $450.
BTC was $1k and now $12k.

I think kind of safer to bet on BTC.

I believe btc is the future. It could possibly used to replace paper money or any physical monetary system. However,  the price of btc is what a wise investor should concern with. You may hold btc as long as you see profitable, but you sure don't wanna purchase at the top of price level where its going newer high or close to history high.
*
So what do you think is a good entry point for purchasing BTC now?

my point exactly. if he held btc exclusively instead of trading between BTC and ETH , he would still be in a profit position. BECAUSE eth was falling over the past few days.

same same , so why bother ?
*
I think he is trying to say that he was trading back and forth between BTC and ETH, and ultimately come out of each trade with more BTC. So he is profiting more in fiat terms compared to just holding BTC.

in general, of course i understand thats possible. but referring the past few days, its not possible to trade between BTC and ETH and come out on top, because ETH was on a down trend against BTC.
*
Your assumption is correct if the down trend is linear.
There will always be fluctuation in between.
The fluctuation can be as small as 1-2%.
But a person who gets it right with each and every small fluctuation can easily earn 10-20%.

Anyone using Jaxx Wallet? How come I could not transfer my Jaxx's Civic Balance to other Civic Wallet?

It State "One of my Ethereum account does not have sufficient"

Did this transfer need to use Ethereum?
*
The address that you store your Civic need to have ETH in order to facilitate the transfer.
