Anyone knows if SC is going to take action against local P2P industry, would they have sufficient power to stop the operation or restrict the access to the websites?
*
Why say so? It is fine to trade p2p as long as everything transparent and no scam. Remember to pay tax for your annual profits.

China Construction Bank (CCB) has tapped Hong Kong-based digital asset exchange Fusang for the issuance of $3 billion-worth of debt securities over a blockchain.

According to a Wednesday report by the South China Morning Post, tokenized bond certificates will be issued through the state-owned bank’s Labuan, Malaysia, branch over a period of three months.

Still hard to imagine would hit $17k this year after the big dump Mar where ETH was below $100 and BTC was only $4000. Wished I had stocked up even more then.

Don't know when this bull run will end. Too afraid to buy too much now though, may suddenly crash. Guess dollar-cost-average every week is the safest plan for now.

imagine more and more company and bank adopt cryptocurrency. Dont think the price will drop like 2 years ago.

If want to keep long tern, go for BUSD. It is back by fiat money USD.
Binance USD (BUSD) is a new USD-denominated stablecoin approved by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) that will be launched in partnership with Paxos and Binance.

USDT is not back by USD.

QUOTE(iqlas @ Nov 23 2020, 08:01 PM)
Can anyone share what would be the best way to obtain altcoin through binance for someone in malaysia starting from myr?

So far i can think of 2 flow:

Flow1
In binance p2p, exchange myr with usdt/bnb.
Usdt is preferable because easier for me to compare between seller price with market price because the value is kinda stagnant.
Then use usdt to do spot exchange with the altcoin of my choice.
My guess is that this would be the least cost correct?
Not to sure on the p2p cost my guess exhange between myr to usdt should be close to zero expense.
Usdt to the respective altcoin may incurre some fee.
So far these is my least favourite because have to deal with a human trader for the p2p.

Flow 2
Through luno, buy the xrp using the "best available market price" option. This will incur a 0.5% fee.
Then transfer the xrp to my binance exchange. This will incur a small xrp charge of 0.03%.
In binance, exchange the xrp into bnb as bnb can get some fee waive of somesort. Alternatively can use usdt as well.
Then exchange the bnb into the altcoin of my choice.
So far this would be my prefered choice although i have't really tried it.
It won't involve with human interaction.

What do you guys think? Is there things that i have miss out in my thought process?

Binance 0% fee for p2p (fiat money to crypto). The answer is obvious d.

Yea, I'm also thinking why? Maybe USDC is on ETH network and high transaction cost? I'm more keen to keep USDC rather than USDT...
Smaller transactions P2P is the best way... but for 6 - 7 digits worth of MYR... better go with LUNO to avoid BNM/IRB to knock on your door... They will give you 1000 excuses that you have broken the law... and you will end up like the couple in the news... "Illegal Crypto Trader"...

I've been to LHDN twice due to tax issues (non crypto related)... It's very tiring arguing with the officer as they will never listen to you...

6-7 digits go for Luno? Are u sure Luno got large volumn?

Attached Image
LHDN din't call me but I went to LHDN office to check with them. Ofcoz I pay a lot of tax to LHDN every year, probably more than Luno. And bank know I use my personal account for crypto trading. This is because BNM allow us to trade crypto.

When do p2p trading, remember this:
1. DO NOT accept third party transfer. If receive third party transfer, refund to them. IC name in the platform must always match with the bank name to AVOID money laundry and third party scam.
2. If the ads able to add T&C, you can create rules to avoid third party scam, money laundry, and investment scam.

Hi,

Just want to ask, what will happen to stablecoins if fiat usd devalue or collapse.

If want to keep long term, choose BUSD. It is back by Fiat Money USD.

USDT is popular because they are the first mover and many platform using it. But it is not back by USD as I know.

I can't answer that biggrin.gif What just trying to say Luno the legal way...
I myself had never trade past 5 digits... so no comments... so far so good only with Binance P2P...

Just as we discuss...

https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/irb-...%9D%20he%20said.

usually is 5 digits or below. I thought u trade at luno but Binance pulak lol. If LHDN want to find u, u trade at Luno or p2p exchange also same 1.
