Whoopee! Already claimed my stellar from BTC in my trezor wallet. Was unfamiliar with signing of message but managed to figure it out eventually.

Cannot use Polo address to receive stellar though.

Stellar website asked to create an account so I just created an account.

That's the account you create to store the lumens. To access the account, use the stellar account viewer and enter the secret key.

I had about 1 BTC on Polo and 0.5 BTC in Trezor.

Yeah, really disappointed with Polo. Hope they will join the giveaway program.

Nope, they don't accept as you need to attach a memo to STR address on Polo. The claiming website will warn you that they don't accept Polo's address.

Mine were lent out too. At the moment, no news on whether Polo will participate or not.

I only claimed the ones in my hardware wallet.

There's a clause that if they convert to USD and the price difference is >5% lower, have to top up. But they will refund if >5% higher. Also got free voucher for subsequentt batches.

Some answers in the front page. Basically, nobody can answer you that because the government and LHDN does not have a stand on this particular issue. Some say it would be good to consult your own tax consultant, if you have one.....

Somebody mentioned that banks need to report transaction that goes over 50k to BNM. And if not mistaken, one of the local bitcoin exchange also requested not to do single transactions more than 50k. I guess if you do small amounts, you won't fall under the radar of LDHN.

For me, i just wish LHDN can come up with a guide regarding income tax on cryptos.

From their description, yes, looks like only siacoin.

For me, I'm planning to buy one as I have confidence with siacoin and this is sort of an investment decision AND also because the money comes from my profits in cryptos so it is still not that bad. Sort of like supporting the network.

I guess it is not a good option for those who wants to switch halfway. No joke dumping in USD 2500 at one shot.

Yeah, that's one of the teething issue. A long waiting time where nobody knows what will happen. June 2018 is the latest, they mentioned earlier shipping if possible. However, As it is an ASIC miner, no mini GPU farms can fight it. The website actually showed one ASIC equivalent to 100 GPUs. Overestimated of course....

Not too sure about acquiring miners in Malaysia as I'm in Sarawak. In Sarawak, everything also relatively difficult to get! Actually got lots of GPUs like 1060 to 1080 in local shops here. RX series no more. Who wants to come to Sibu to grab them?

Anyway, crypto market these few weeks are so boring. Almost seldom see any cryptos shoot above 50% on Polo. I blame bitcoin's uncertainty.....

Frankly speaking, I wouldn't want to be the first guinea pig to do that! You might be subjected to some arbitrary rule because they are not sure what it falls under.

But then again, I won't be selling any bitcoins for at least 2-3 years. See see how after that time.

If not for the upcoming Mining GPUs, I would have bought some. Now with siacoin obelisk, I think I won't do any mining until I get the obelisk.

Obelisk is the company that will produce the obelisk siacoin ASIC miner. A miner solely made for siacoin and can't be used for any other coin. Costing USD 2500 that needs to be preorder and paid in full these few days (preorders already open). The miner is still on the drawing board (!) and ETA latest June 2018. June is a conservative estimate and they hope to ship earlier.

Their main purpose is to strengthen the network and decentralize miners, among other things.

Whoever preorder the miner is actually putting a lot of faith that it will be delivered as planned. Anything can happen in one year..... the one advantage is that if you do get the first batch of miners, you will get the advantage of being able to earn more coins, something like ROI in one to two months at current prices. Of course, the final specs is still not out yet. Again, need a lot of faith...
