QUOTE(ljken @ Oct 16 2021, 06:35 PM) I say this cycle mah, eventually I agree will hit 20k thanks to it being deflationary, just not before crash a bit. Depends on how you define a cycle.Like recently BTC went to 64k , then drop to 29k. Does that count as the end of one cycle? For me it isn't, and that is just a small dip. BTC will go to $300k soon and ETH will go above $20k in the next coming months. Win Win Inspiration and teikboon liked this post

QUOTE(Vrese @ Oct 18 2021, 02:27 PM) The last few weeks of a Q4 bull market can run few hundred % quick.ETH price on Oct 18th 2017 = $290 Jan 8th 2018 = $1,440 You are looking at 5x in the span of weeks And ETH price in 2021 is following the price of BTC in 2017 Vrese liked this post

QUOTE(evolution120 @ Oct 19 2021, 10:19 PM) my tax agent told me that recently lhdn is now actively tracing individuals that do not declare tax from crypto gains (cashing out). regardless of being regular trader or once in a blue moon kind of trader. Not sure true or not.cashing out into fiat is considered part of your source of income and shall be added into your total annual income as well. how they trace is where they check on your bank account balance, spending pattern deduct with your declared income. eg your declared annual income is 100k, but your spending power could go more than 100k, then they will come and investigate you for undeclared income. just like how some individuals used to under-declare their income since ages ago i think the only way is you cashout to someone where they on the spot pay you cash instead of via bank transfer. this is why some p2p seller dont leave any wordings that could link to crypto. but then lhdn still managed to traced some of em. But for spending pattern, better withdraw as cash and spend since it can't be traced. |

QUOTE(dattebayo @ Oct 22 2021, 01:04 PM) No need to wait for that measly 10% dip. When ETH is at $20,000, I bet you don't care whether you bought ETH at $4144 or $4044 or $3888. Might as well spot buy now cuz the potential to 5x is there. |

Has anyone withdrew more than $10,000 USD in stablecoins from exchanges before? Or wallet to wallet transfer through ERC20
Wanna know if there is any issue? Since in US any transfer above $10,000 will be reported to IRS, but I am not sure if stablecoins have the same treatment. |

QUOTE(TheLegend27 @ Oct 26 2021, 10:39 AM) I assume USDT transfer wallet to wallet any amount should be no problem. But if withdraw more than $10k USD from exchange got any issue? (already KYC) And, USDC wallet to wallet I am not so sure since your address can be blacklisted. https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/10276...esses-wednesday Even Tether also can blacklist address https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/70981...s-ethereum-usdt This post has been edited by JohnsonLoi: Oct 26 2021, 10:48 AM |

QUOTE(pleasuresaurus @ Oct 26 2021, 11:22 AM) I would assume that it shouldn't be an issue - u r a non-US citizen, utilizing a non-US platform exchange? If its really that much of an issue, just break it up into 2 tranches and wire it to an interest yielding acct, park it for a while to regenerate the coins lost to gas fees. Yeah. I think most likely no problem. Just wanna confirm with any forumer here to who has done it before and know it is safe to do it. |
