They use your account as proxy to wash "buyer" money
*
wash is another story.

The main one is

1. scammer gets bitcoin
2. Buyer aka victim1 loss money as the result get scammed from love scam, parcel scam or investment scam;
3. Seller aka victim2 bank account get suspended or blocked. In order to close case, seller might be instructed by police or bank to repay buyer aka victim1. If seller agrees, then seller loss money.

From the whole scenario, buyer's stupidity has affected Sellers and sellers are the victims now.

Sounds like these P2P sellers are not using safe platforms.

Remitano has an option to let you only accept funds from buyer's Remitano Wallet instead of bank transfer. Your bank account would be hidden from buyers this way.
*
that is better than receive directly from buyers. Hence, it reduces the risk.

BTW be careful of fake police or bank employee telling you your account suspended and saying you need to transfer back the money. If you think about it that makes no sense - a real suspended account can't transfer anything. And police only can freeze bank account if they have enough evidence to get court order.
*
Not really. Nowadays the banks have double standard to freeze it or to close it at their own discretion without any orders from police or court. Once you get reported, the banks practised that the one who made report is victim and the one get reported is scammer. Hence, they close the account without informing you anything or reason.

Honestly Remitano’s services are subpar at best. I remember they called me back when the bank in windows was 3 or 5 minutes kek. Seller was rushing them but anyone sane wouldn’t run the risk of keying in wrong bank in info... seriously super cb cs.
*
I second it. LBC and Binance are the worst especially Binance. Your dispute case will take days...

The CS wil give you excuse that they have a lot of disputes and hence you will need wait one by one.. What this make sense? It says that their system is damn worst until many people encounters the dispute

Many Malaysian accounts get terminated without reason...

We have noticed that you have been sending/receiving bitcoins to/from prohibited wallets/platforms/websites. As per our terms of service your LocalBitcoins account has been terminated on 2021-04-15. You have lost the right to use the account XXX

Why p2p price for BNB so high?

now BNB/USD is 526

using google found 526 United States Dollar equals 2,172.38 Malaysian Ringgit

but https://c2c.binance.com/en/trade/buy/BNB shows RM2,395

so extra 2395-2172=223 which is 10% (223/2172) value loss just like that before even pull the first trade.

someone pls enlighten, can bigpay card avoid that expensive spread via p2p?

The diff is due to exchange rate. Your rate is not necessary same as the same as shown - used
