It seems to be cited differently across the different exchanges and wallets. E.g on Bittrex, it is BCC. On Quoine and Ledger, it is BCH. But they're both the same coin

Guide on splitting BCH from BTC wallets for those with ledgers (from https://www.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/comme...ttom-comments):

1.Plug in your ledger nano into your computer
2.Open the Ledger Manager (Not the bitcoin wallet application)
3.Install the Bitcoin Cash App onto your Ledger Nano.
4.Open the Ledger Wallet Bitcoin
5.Click on Bitcoin Cash
6.Click on Split
7.Click on Receive
8.Write Down the Address
9.Click on Settings
10.Click on Blockchains
11.Click on Bitcoin Cash
12.Click on Main
13.Click Send
14.Input amount and address written down from split (try a small amount first to ensure it works)
15.Click Settings
16.Click Blockchains
17.Click Bitcoin Cash
18.Click Split
19.You will now see the first transaction you sent in BCH.
20.Repeat steps 11-14 for the remaining left in the Main Account into the split account.

Only you can answer that questions. It's all depends on your risk appetite. You may sell half to contra initial investment and hold the rest.

If long term better buy and keep in cold storage and quit this forum for years , but I can't do so, once I buy I keep looking at the price everyday no matter up or down
